Mars hydro tsl-2000

Hey guys, I recently bought a mars Hydro TSL 2000 and I am curious how far away you guys run your lights from your girls and what do you dim them down to? I have mine at 32 inches at 25% because I thought I saw some light burn at 50% and 32 inches what do you guys suggest?

What you're doing sounds about right until they acclimate to the light I start out at about 36 in but I don't have a dimmer some strains tougher than others

I've got a ts3000 I run at the manufacturer's recommended 12-18 inches without issue
So you don’t have it on dim or anything? I’m in veg so i think it’s recommended at 24inches. I just transplanted and it’s a new light so i didn’t want to stress them or burn them, 8 are 2 weeks old and 4 are 4 weeks on Thursday.

How long do you think they’ll take to acclimate to the light? When they do I was going to move the lights to 24” at 40-50% until flower then start bumping it up

I will dim them to around 50% when I take from the veg tent to flower. I bring it up to full slowly over a month or so. Mostly it's to save power, but the lights in my veg are much weaker so maybe that's good too.

Is this a seedling? If so you should be good at 32” and 25%. I have the ts1000 so it’s not as many watts, so I put the 150watt light at 25% 24” from the seedling. When she gets her 1st set of serrated leaves you can go to 24” and 3-4 sets of leaves I would bump that light to 50% and leave it at 24” for a couple days before dropping it to 18”. Is also pot up if in a cup still before dropping to 18”.
just my 2 cents. I think you’re off to a fine start where you’re at.

Both the new generation mars hydro & the vipar spectra have gotten away from the traditional chinese blurple lights & offer a lot of bang for the buck especially if you're wanting to light a larger tent like a 4x4 these lights can give you a big savings on your setup cost for my 4x4 it was all budget I hacked a vipar spectra blurple light & put in luminus cobs & meanwell drivers so far it's working good & I got enlightened on drivers & cobs DI Y which can be mind boggling these lights weren't available then or I would probably be sporting one of these too keep us posted on your progress

So these are what they look like 36 hours after lowering the lights to 24 inches dimmed to 50%. Noticed the leaf tips folding partially on one of the plants and the others leaves look good but not sure if the edges reaching to the light is okay

These have recently acclimated & my color is darkening up & the bud shot are fully acclimated 100% power at 24 in. Note the frost the leds generate when you get these details sorted out I'm sure you're gonna like the results 20210310_101026.jpg20210310_101253.jpg

These look good when your leaves slant slightly upwards towards the light is a good sign
