I'd get two Sp150s and a tent for the price of an sp300...$ 277 and a tent for $75 is a good deal for me, but I have no business buying another light or tent!!! It's hard to pass up a good deal though!!!
SP150 has more blue in the spectrum, it doesn't seem dimmable and capable of daisy chaining, and i believe they don't use Samsung diodes like the SP3000. Not sure about the driver either.

I suppercropped that middle branch on the left the other day too, before the last pics. I was rough with it, but it was happy in a day.
I love supercropping. These cups are all cuts o took and left in the water. All rooted.. some more than others but they are all battling my neglect for now.
I took the cup on the right side of the 1st pic, and put her in a 1gal.. then made that girl do a split. A0DD6DC2-F9E5-4A54-B951-7EEA2B5AD25D.jpeg2DC2B003-F5F9-4615-8782-A31703F1A3CF.jpeg47834716-7549-48E9-9A70-347BF0D9F8C7.jpegA71FB7E6-4CE2-41B8-B1C0-34939B26CBE4.jpeg

Hmm. @HydroKid239 don't you have the SP150? Is it dimmable?

Not doubting you, but I'm just curious.

Same here. I didn't realize. I just assumed you could I guess.
Yea I think that’s the only one tho. Think the sp250 was discontinued. Those were pretty sweet because of their size. Well all the SP’s are for that matter. 2x sp6500’s in a 5x5 can make some serious nugs. I can’t get as much as a much better grower.. but I’ll still pull a couple pounds. The 1 light gave me over a pound in the 3x5.

I'd still take the 2 Sp150s in a 2x2x3 or 3 in a 3x3, I don't care about the lack of a dimmer and I don't have room for a rectangle tent...
Whatever suits you the most :) Not trying to put down your opinion, but personally for that amount of money i would get a Migro Aray or Lumatek/Photontek for 2x2 or 3x3. Better quality lights, customer service, warranty and results.
And i'm not sure about your electricity prices, but in my case running the lights at full power without a dimmer for 3 months or so, i think the bill for the total grow would pay for the difference in pricing between the lights. (especially now when energy prices are going up)
And the high blue spectrum in SP150 probably wouldn't produce as much as other lights with more red spectrum.
Not to mention the trouble of possibly burning the plants without a dimmer, the constant heat etc.

I hear that. I make my own mixes too usually, but thought I'd give the DTE 4-4-4 and 4-8-4 a chance too. I like the ingredients.

The only thing I was skeptical about is the dolomite in the 4-4-4 since my water has plenty Ca already.

I'll be adding other stuff to it when I want. The 4-4-4 I've been feeding, I add a little extra langbeinite, and mix with EWC, and other stuff. Last night I added a little chicken manure to it too when I top dressed.

I have 2 of these as well, they alright

Used mine in a 2x2x4
