Mass Shooting in Colorado

Statistics show that the US is about as bad as a lot of 3rd world countries when it comes to gun violence. The US has more violence in general than most civilized countries.

Isn't that odd? I thought guns made everything more safe?
Stats? I don't see no stats! I don't need no stinking stats...

What statistics? You didn't link any so I assume you are just talking out of your ass.

Note that most crime statistics are often better indicators of prevalence of law enforcement and willingness to report crime, than actual prevalence

No, but they sure do kill a lot more people than all the guns do.

BTW the primary use of my guns is to shoot animals for food or to put holes in paper. I assume you have never used a gun in your life and that is why you are laying down your complete ignorance for all to see.
You need a hand cannon to put holes in paper and you're calling me ignorant?

A hand cannon? Is that what you call every gun there is?

I don't NEED a gun to put holes in paper, I could use my finger, but its really fucking hard to do it from 3000 feet away.

BTW 100% ignorant buffoons never heard of a target.

Lol you can swing it anyway you want, theres a lot of legal shit that people shouldn't be in command of but are anyways because they got some license and some classes. Even the experienced ones have their off days.
How elitist of you.

That is just wrong. Why believe it unless it makes your comfortable? The global violence is way, way down since the invention of gun powered enforement. You need facts. Not cocktail party opinions. This isn't just opinion, but I can't learn ya. You have to study.

And recently the stupidity about gun owners and self harm was debunked as bad science.

Guns defend the American home. That statistic above is when you merge two data for political agenda.

- 1 Gun owners

2 Folks harmed at home with a gun

#2 is because home invaders bring guns. The two data sets have nothing to do with each other. Bad science.

the news doesn't create propaganda and fear off of reporting all the hundreds of cases a week of crime put to rest over intervention of a civilian with a gun.
Always remember when you got seconds to react, the cops are only minutes away.

It's just UN CRONIES... paving the way for the UN to take control over the 2nd Amendment
I hope that killer wasn't a medical patient they'll blame weed for that and the cannabal dude as well. med weed will be a distant memory.
Im with the other guy on the UN Cronies. How the hell does a fully armed man that looks like Bane, wielding a knife, a rifle, and another weapon still live and is detained after a massacre like that? Honestly that guy would have been shot dead or should have at least. I don't get it ya know. Did he walk out with his hands up or what? He is probably with the cops/government. Dressed in all black? Mask? No name just some medical student. Whether this kid is working with them or not, this is just another excuse to push the agenda on stripping everyone of their legal firearms.
MY propaganda radar is going off!:cuss:

YOU HAVE IT ALL WRONG!!!!!

Tin is one of the earliest metals known and used. Because of its hardening effect on copper, tin was used in bronze implements as early as 3,500 B.C., although the pure metal was not used until about 600 B.C. About 35 countries mine tin throughout the world. Nearly every continent has an important tin-mining country. Tin is a relatively scarce element with an abundance in the earth's crust of about 2 parts per million (ppm), compared with 94 ppm for zinc, 63 ppm for copper, and 12 ppm for lead. Most of the world's tin is produced from placer deposits; at least one-half comes from Southeast Asia. The only mineral of commercial importance as a source of tin is cassiterite (SnO[SUB]2[/SUB]), although small quantities of tin are recovered from complex sulfides such as stanite, cylindrite, frankeite, canfieldite, and teallite.
Most tin is used as a protective coating or as an alloy with other metals such as lead or zinc. Tin is used in coatings for steel containers, in solders for joining pipes or electrical/electronic circuits, in bearing alloys, in glass-making, and in a wide range of tin chemical applications. Secondary, or scrap, tin is an important source of the tin supply.

Aluminum is the second most abundant metallic element in the Earth's crust after silicon, yet it is a comparatively new industrial metal that has been produced in commercial quantities for just over 100 years. It weighs about one-third as much as steel or copper; is malleable, ductile, and easily machined and cast; and has excellent corrosion resistance and durability. Measured either in quantity or value, aluminum's use exceeds that of any other metal except iron, and it is important in virtually all segments of the world economy. Some of the many uses for aluminum are in transportation (automobiles, airplanes, trucks, railcars, marine vessels, etc.), packaging (cans, foil, etc.), construction (windows, doors, siding, etc), consumer durables (appliances, cooking utensils, etc.), electrical transmission lines, machinery, and many other applications.
Aluminum recovery from scrap (recycling) has become an important component of the aluminum industry. A common practice since the early 1900's, aluminum recycling is not new. It was, however, a low-profile activity until the late 1960's when recycling of aluminum beverage cans finally vaulted recycling into the public consciousness. Sources for recycled aluminum include automobiles, windows and doors, appliances, and other products. However, it is the recycling of aluminum cans that seems to have the highest profile.

Please not that only Tin is noted for being a protective coating.

Please show me these statistics. After all, we now know that 86.34% of all statistics are made up on the spot. cn

Too bad someone with a concealed carry weapon wasn't there that would have used his gun to stop the dude from hurting more than 1 person.

Uhhh....you do realize the guy was dressed in armor from head to toe, dont you? No gun would have saved your Rambo wanna-be ass.

The story said he wore a ballistic-grade helmet, which sounds like mil spec to me ... no faceplate. A .22 could have gone through that gas mask for a powerful distracting effect. Jmo. cn

He was wearing a ballistic vest, ballistic leggings, a groin protector, a ballistic helmet with a gas mask. Yea, a .22 would've stopped him, are you serious?
