I put some plants outside on the back deck, started them inside May 15th and after moving them outside they hardly grew, two finally kicked on it seems and are growing fast, the other was an auto and just stopped growing. I have another auto inside ill move out there when its bigger. Im right on the ocean and think it was too cold at night in June. I have a bunch of clones but I don't think they will catch up in time to be put outside, and others that are already flowering. I just harvested some ill show.20190710_190035.jpg 20190710_190110.jpg 20190710_125713.jpg 20190710_122145.jpg

Hey all! Vermonter here working on an outdoor grow. First time using special seeds.. grew for 4 years in NY bag seed but man put her in the compost and it was always awesome.. moved to vt lost our seeds, ordered reg non feminized from msln seedbank.. got thai stick, sour diesel, and an outdoor mix I'm hoping for an indica in.. yeh not the best choices for vt but were in a valley mid-southern vt so it could be worse.. hoping for the best. Started inside in late March. They stunted a bit because weather sucked sobdidnt go out till June. Now they are blowing up. 2 over 4 ft guessing it's the thai stick. Greenhouse got taken out in windstorm and mixed up my plants.. planted with compost and rotten leaves. Feeding little bit of fish emulsion every cpl weeks.. nothing too fancy, just a little love and attention daily.. good luck on your grows! Have just started a grow journal myself. Not sure if close up is a male. Def have some females showing pistols already.. dont remember my plants showing sex so early in ny...also just started some lst on the tall girls I think are the thais..20190710_111205.jpg 20190710_111205.jpg 20190710_110932.jpg 20190710_110835.jpg

Hi Everyone - a brief update from the 617 outdoor grow I've got going on. As a quick recap, I've got 1 Honey Badger Haze (cloned) which is about 11 weeks old now, 3 Fastbuds Autoflower West Coast OG, 3 Fastbuds Smoothie Auto. These are in a mix of 8 Gal fabric pots and a 2'x4' raised bed. All with FFOF, compost tea and watered with filtered water.

Honey Badger Haze - Alex Treebek, as we've named her, is just killing it. I'm using soft garden wire to train the branches to go wider and not taller.... There's been a few bug-nibbles on the top leaves, but all in all... we're okay!

So I've gotten the itch badly... and got a 3x3 tent that's going to be setup in August... so I popped some more seeds. Ha, I couldn't help myself. So I've started 3 new strains, we'll see if they germinate, here's what I'm doing (all Photos and reg seeds, so I'm gonna have to move into a tent in 30 - 45 days. Also will have to abort if any turn out to be male). Again, never done Photos at all.... and I'm going slow here, just popping 1 seed at a time. I'm in no rush at the moment.
  • Virginia Skwrul Snax from Dazed Jahenitx - (this is a cross of Virginia cake f2 and southern skwurl f3, which is southern Oregon kush x skwurl killer) How can anyone keep up? lol
  • Rasperry Jelly from Subzool - Raspberry Jelly is (raspberry smash × raspberry smash) F2. she’s an eye catcher with burgundy & purple hues, giant frosty buds with a raspberry jelly / kushy candy aroma.
  • Magnum Pie from 42 - this is a cross of Magnum Opus and Lemon Tart from 42, which was a gift pack I got from a friend.

The "pentagarden", this is the non-cannabis garden. I coveted an old sandbox into a little garden. It's got 3 types of strawberries, 2 types of cucumbers, 2 types of peppers, 2 celery, lavender, tarragon and pineapple sage. All with a 5 gal composting bucket in the middle.

Well - I'm preparing for 10 days of some stupid heat.... just planning on misting the plants a few times daily, and giving them a nice soak over night.... what does everyone else do when it's about to be HOT as HELL?!

Late to the thread but growing Oni seeds Tangie Punch (3) a Blue Dream, a Blueberry gum and a cut from my buddies Strawberry Cough he couldn’t fit
in his tent. From the 508 by the Cape. All started from seed June 2. I enjoy letting things grow naturally. I get plenty of yield but part of the joy of doing this is the beauty of the plant itself. Not getting as much sun as I would (like 7.5-8 hours of direct) but things are progressing. Also, grew som Barnies lsd before and got some giant yields!

I pay closer attention to their signals and make sure I'm ready to respond.

Usually for me, regardless of when they were watered last, they will get all sucked out and skinny. Then I water them and they get all jacked up with 40min and look great.

They are currently all (but 1 in a 2gallon pot on the left there) between 5' and 6' and at least that around. They are built like Danny Devito. Haha

Mine drink more (and more often) in the heat, so I just give them what they want and then they love it. Especially when its super humid.

Yea, multiple waterings & I'm gonna be hitting them with the mist early before direct sunlight, and later in the afternoon, after direct sunlight.

My plants seem really thin/spindly and getting lots of yellow leaves - is it possible to overwater outdoors in fabric pots (two 5 gallon and one 10 gallon) in this heat? Watering about every other day.
