Well another 15 seeds not taken. I guess I need new seeds I don't know... these seeds worked wonderfully years ago but seems like they have become too stubborn.

I cracked a few open that haven't seen any water and they are alive inside..

Oh well my loss haha...

Just curious, you tried my method right and nothing? Well, at least I know it doesnt work with really old seeds. It could be the seeds are totally dried up, I've read that stored seeds should have at least 6% or something of moisture content in order to be viable.

That sucks to loss those old genetics.

Yea I sat there for an hour filing about 40 seeds and had nothing at all except over saturated seeds they went dark as a rock. I did it again 2 nights ago and I have 2 popped so I think your method works but I'm not sure about the seeds to lemme post a pic of what I have left and I mean they look decent but that doesn't mean anything.

Sometimes they just won't. I had some old ones to that I tried every method known, and nothing. I ended up buying some. If they did pop, they may not be great plants possibly.

I had some from 2001 that popped did 3 at a time soaked the first 3 then paper towels they all failed. Then I scuffed another 3 and all 3 sprouted, one never made it after it sprouted I felt that she could of made it if I scuffed her more she seemed to be stuck in its shell. Then a few weeks later I did some blueberry that I had since late 2011 that I scuffed 2, 2 sprouted. All 2 survived. Doing a second run

As @Gemtree said, get some fulvic acid. You can get it on Amazon. Works wonders with old seeds, especially in combination with scuffling. I germinate 7 yr old plus all the time.
I had some given to me from my mother in law and it started popping the rest of the seeds i had in the dish, looks like im at like 3 popped as of this morning... we shall see tomorrow.

Not recommended? It's natural for a seed to germinate this way. it's the way I do it every time will 100% success so don't tell me it's no recommended.
Post pics of 28 year old seeds not stored properly and you popping them directly into dirt. Take daily pics and keep us posted. I damned sure know how to grow cannabis. FYI I only germinate directly in the medium no matter what the medium is.

Lol yeah these seeds are 11-12 years old and they are popping at an alarmingly slow rate, I really don't know if these seeds would pop themselves in soil but I guess they are designed to do that. Anything can happen. I am aware you weren't
talking to me in that reply haha.
