Masterblend?

I am still playing around with ratios. The recipe I am trying also asks for a bump in Ca for the first 3 weeks and then a MPK bump weeks 4-6. It also depends on your environment. I'm using a blend of LED and CMH and my Mg needs are greater. With these salts, small tweaks have a large effect.
When watering or adding supplements I never have runoff so perhaps this is part of my problem. I began saving my soil after harvests because the cost per bag is $50.00, so it kinda makes sense that I have the buildup..

There is a great thread about Masterblend/Jacks etc over on ICMag. The name of the thread is: "Cheap Nutrient Line for Commercial and Home Grows"
I am experimenting with Masterblend currently using the concepts laid out in the thread. So far so good!
2 years later. Do you still use masterblend?

Nope. 2 years later and I’m not even in hydro anymore. Just whatever peat based organic potting mix is on sale, Dr Earth tomato food, ewc, and hydrolyzed fish and seaweed fertilizer. Grew some fire with the masterblend it’s just hydros more work, and in the summer you gotta run a chiller, between that and the pumps that’s like another 1000w.
