i love the smell of fresh soil. i've been caught sniffing the soil at home depot. people look at me weird. yeah, dirt. how weird. :-|
I SO love the smell and feel of fresh soil....yea I suppose it might be weird....but I totally get what ur saying.....that is totally what I like about being in the bush......out in the woods, sitting on the forest floor....drinking in the smell and the feel and the energy of the forest.....weird? I suppose....but its me....

those pics fdd are really really cool. Q? you say you crakced a jar and it had been a month....I had thought that the curing process needed the jars to be cracked every now and then? from your stateemnt it would seem not?

when i was in jail i never smelt grass or soil for over a year and a half. When i came out and smelled fresh grass was amazing. I couldnt believe the amount of pleasure i got from smelling grass. And to this day the smell of a fresh cut lawn gives me that same feeling. I like the earthy smell of soil. But prefer the ganja smells and odour to anything.

I have bred horses for almost 20 years now....and the smell of fresh cut hay (timothy or alfalfa) is the most intoxicating thing to me when I walk into the barn.....and the sound of the horses chewing on it.....I have sat at the edge of the barn door, the sun coming up over the horizon, cup of dark roast and blaze......and venture off into this dream world that is so completely fulfilling to every sense, the wamrth of the new sunshine hitting your cheeks, the wafts of fresh cut hay, the feel and sounds of horses chewing their hay, and the sight of the sun glistening off of the morning dew on the pine trees.....whoa.....f*ck...I'm there......sorry....went out on a tangent there.....but yea...the connection to the earth is so incredibly powerful at times like that! :blsmoke:

hey fdd, i guess maybe you're too blazed to see that you missed a question lol. someone asked what's the longest period of time that you've kept a jar stored in the closet, or even just a couple nugs from a jar, and how was the smoke/taste/buzz? think it lost anything, or just kept getting better? i know me personally, on a special occasion i smoked a bud that i had been saving for 6 months, but then again, that was when i had a good connect and never had to go without for months at a time.

A year and a half u got to find it take some pics and let us know how it is. I heard that if u jar for more than 6months that the buds can turn into a gold colour.

i've had it stored for up to a year. i just finished last years when this years started coming in. it starts to turn gold after a couple months. it tastes and smells different every time i open a jar. i think with the proper storage it will last for years. i could be wrong. i need to find that lost jar.:blsmoke:
