max potency and resin production

the organic vs hydro thing is bugging me.
i know there are many benefits from growing organic, as there are for hydro.

but judging by the pics i have seen over many threads and forums, it seems that organically grown buds look better, meaning better color and a lot more trich production.

concerning potency and resin production, which method will make for snow covered, potent smoke.

if possible post some pictures along with methods to prove your point if you have one.

Growing oranically is the ONLY way for me. I don't care to get into the pissin contests about which way is "better". However, I grow for taste and potency. My meds are legendary from my area.

I grow for personal meds and I also give meds to the sick that have no means or access to medicate. There are no "dispensaries" where I live. It is all underground and descreet as anything. When I take my buds to those that deliver the meds, they are always very happy. I can't tell you how good it makes you feel to be able to help others while doing something you love.

The reason I am telling you this is because of the unsolicited feedback I get from those that smoke just for the medicinal purposes. They all rave about the taste and potency vs some of the "hydro" that they get. Maybe it's just the way other are growing I really don't know but I can promise you, I am told time & time again about how good the taste is.

Anyway, sorry for the ramble I am medicating with some Kali Mist and I tend to get a lil wordy if you know what I mean.

Here are a few pics from a couple that will be harvested in a week or so. Enjoy...

The strain, and the growers skill are the only thing that will determine how the bud looks, smells, or smokes.

The major difference between organic and synthetic nutes is that with organic (soil) the nutes break down over time and the plants use them as needed. With synthetic nutes(hydro) your giving the plants a very specific solution that gives the plants instant access to the nutrients. The plants still process the same nutrients in the same ways, so its really the strain and growers skill that determines how the bud looks.

And a good camera always helps..

rocky top, what strain is that
Seedsman White Widow. I have had her in my garden for the last 18 months and she is a beauty. One of the most rewarding plants I have ever grown.

Here are a couple of pics from a Hindu Kush and a Kali Mist. Check out the resin on the kali at only 4 weeks flower when these pics were taken.

i think the answer to your question is simply this :
all the canabis cup winners are grown in soil.
the winners arent going for profit, nor for volume. they are going for pure quality only.

Yeah I want to see an actual comparison of hydro and organics side by side with pics, It would be nice to see the same strain also.

Its totally a lot of factors with the two growing methods. Im a hydro grower and the only difference that i could find was maybe a little quicker in growth and thats just my opinion (probably wrong). here is a pic of my first grow just one plant RED HAIR SKUNK and it produced some of the most dense buds ive smoked to date. the white strains will get you that frost on the leafs. Im currently growing some White widow but not in flower yet. ill post some pics of harvest when i get there.

You need to grow a specific white strain to get them white:o
Different kinds of marijuana produce different flavours, resin amounts, quality etc...
When you know what you want from a plant, flavour, resin, thc, cbd and of course yield amounts, then just look in the write ups for strains and see what they do.
Heres a pic of some of my own cross with ppp and blueberry, does the job:weed:

what is your method of growing
I only grow in soil but i really believe that it probably doesn't matter.
A skilled grower can grow in anything.
I choose soil because i have always used it and i know what i am doing with it,i also think it may have a slightly better flavour than hydro and maybe be a bit less harsh than some hydro stuff:joint:

100% I agree with natmoon I think a way better flavor and smoothness to the smoke. I got some hydro today and that shit is bunk, fluffy as hell and thc content is almost not there to top it off no flavor whatso ever. It came from the DANK BANK I hate hydro!!!!!!!!
