Maximize efficiency!

Currently, The space I have to grow in is a closet roughly 2' x 5' x 6' (tall).
I have divided the closet into 2 spaces (one 2x2 and one 2x3).
The larger space is for veg, running 6 cfls in there on a 20/4 light schedule.
the smaller space is for flowering, with a warm white 100w LED COB. 1130on/1230off light schedule (cause i'm weird)
The only ventilation is a small desk fan in each side.

What would you do in this space to maximize yield per month and quality.
I don't so much care about time to harvest. I'm looking for the absolute Highest yield per month average, without significantly affecting the quality of the buds.
Assume seeds are not the easiest thing to come by, so propagation of existing plants would be favorable.
Also assume that you aren't rich and that you would prefer to buy parts from china and build something yourself rather than buy it.

Currently my plan is:
To grow all the seed that I have, take clones from them, and then test out all the strains to select the ones I like best, then I will keep the clones of those as mother plants.
I will chop clones off the mother at about 4" and let them root for about 2 weeks in an aeroponic cloner I made. Then transfer them into fox-farms ocean forest, no additives. Solo cups with hole in the bottom. Let them veg for about 2 weeks, then transfer them to the other side and flower immediately. From what I've read, this should be a simple and easy way to increase my yields and keep the buds super good quality. What do you think? Also what distance do you think that LED should be from the plant tops? It has a 90 degree beam Its crazy intense. like Painful to be near without sunglasses. Currently, I'm only really needing to add a tad of miracle-gro plain 9/3/12. (like 1/10 of the normal dose, but every watering) and the leaves are looking perfect, albeit a bit dry cause these air pots dry that shit out in a few hours. I will likely buy ff bloom nutes as soon as I put my first plant into flower. Also my tap water is coming out at a ph of 8. And runoff from the plant was coming out a tad above 7. So I've made a habit of every 2 or so watering, adding some lemon juice, but enough not to bring the ph of the water below 6 ever, and that seems to be reaaaaaly doing the trick, and bonus, I no longer smell this slightly musky mildew smell from the bottom of the bot that was worrying me a bit.

So what would you do that would significantly improve this plan. I'm interested in the options like vertical growing. remember ventilation could quickly become an issue with added heat.
I want to improve everything, but i'm looking for the improvements I can make which would make the biggest return on investment first. Until I get the ball rolling.

Things I'm considering:
Lighting?
Hydro or aeroponics (both would be a blast to fabricate)?
Better nutes for veg?
diffferent growth medium?
better ventilation?
duct fans?
Carbon filter, will it be necessary?
grow tents?
different growing strategy?
Should I pick the best looking male, and the most potent female, breed them, and grow all my plants from seed?
Should I go larger plants than solo cups?
Scrog?

Of all this, which change would contribute the greatest to yield per month per $ investment.
or give me your top 3

Stealth is definitely necessary, but pretty good as it stands, the closet is actually huge, about 2x12x10 with 2 sets of those folding doors. So really I could ventilate into the other space and cover the 2nd closet door with like a tapestry or large painting and you'd never know it was there, but I cant really use much more of the space in the closet.

Also Gotta be careful on the heat, from what I hear, there are heat cameras on helicopters around this area. I love the 100w leds, because they look like computers on camera, and cfls don't even show up.

I use diy LED's in an area 40"x46" stealth. Carbon filters a must. Cameras no big deal. Smell yep.

Shit really? Even outside the house? Its in the 2nd story bedroom closet. I'm not worried if it smells in my room or even at the base of the stairs/living area which is at the back of the house. I just don't want the smell to reach the from door.

In my grow with 4 plants it stinks the whole house up without carbon filters. Outside as well. Busted

What're you pulling per plant 12/12 from seed?

yesh this is my question as well.
And thank you for the answers!
Seems like everyone is recommending going directly to 12/12 in a SoG
Do you guys think i'm going to be using all my space up harvesting that fast?
I was assuming 2 weeks of veg just cause I feel like I can right now.
I feel like I will end up give them more or less time in veg depending on how my supply of viable clones is looking.
In other words, if my mother(s) are looking really bushy, I'll rush the clones immediately into flowering, but if my mothers aren't doing so well, II can let my current crop of clones fill out a bit more.

Does that sound right? Or are you saying the diminishing returns from giving a plant any time in veg just aren't worth the extra wait time?
I guess what i'm asking is what do you think the difference in final yield per plant would be, all else being equal, in giving it 2 weeks of veg vs 12/12 from seed?

I'd think clones would be a much better bet for SoG since they'll be uniform instead of a bunch of different phenos

Going straight to 12/12 will keep them shorter but you'll have least yield and no ability to top/train for bushy plants

Thank you very much for bringing this up. Its something I hadn't really considered much, as all my plants are vegging now. I think I've found everything I need to make one of those pencil holder ones to make an emergency DIY one. But in an absolute emergency I found a local shop selling a 4 inch filter for gut-wrenching $80.00

Also, for clones going immediately into 12/12. Can I get by with solo cups the whole grow?
That would be sweet.

You could there are folks in here getting a zip in a party cup. it's a pain in the ass though unless you use some form of auto-watering system like blu mats or the like. When they get into flowering you can be having to water twice/day.

I don't do a lot of it (growing small plants) other than pheno hunts but even then I'll do it in 1gal pots, just less maintenance once they get into flowering. One of the best yields I've had in a small 2x2x4' tent that I normally use for breeding was running 6x 1gal extra clones with about 10 days veg before flipping them (basically let them settle into the 1gal pots, flipped as soon as I saw some new growth). 6.2 zips dry from 6x 1gal. Genetics of course will play a big role in yields.

1 sativa dom plant, vegged 8 weeks & scrogged, plus all the other improvements you mentioned.

Can I k ow your needs to grow? Still reading but wondering if this is personal use or what have you. If it is how much are you aiming for?

i would design a nft or some hybrid type of hydro aeroponic system around 4 inch post covers and grow clones

Sorry late reply. Right now with the small space I'm in and legal status in my area, the goal is mainly just to have enough that I don't have to buy, but I am also very much interested in relocating and getting into some more commercial growing. So that said I'm not exclusively looking for the simplest methods to maximize yield. I'm trying to gain as much experience and knowledge of the plants themselves as possible
