maximize yield without loosing ontrol

i have 13 females going all from seed, they are 1 month and 4 days old.

im using advanced nutrients sensi 2 part with all the additives and im following thier feeding scheduale to the T.

i keep my ph between 5 and 6 and my PPM is curently at 800, friday they will start thier second week in vedge cycle at 1000 ppm.

im also using a 1000w Mh/HPS convertible lamp on an 18 hour light cycle 2 feet from the tops

my temp averge is the recomended 76 but reaces 80 in the morning and 70 in the evening.

how long should i vedge to maximize my yield without loosing control of verticle space, my plants are 6-8 inches tall and i have 4 feet of verticle space when the light is at its highest point?

That's a nice system, very similar to mine, and it will be much better using cuttings. Seed plants have a main taproot, and that won't do as well in that shallow medium.

Do you mean you have only 2 feet for plant growth, or 4 feet? With the 2 feet for the light to be over plant tops, you want to control their height. For seed plants just figure that they will triple in height after you switch to 12/12.

You can damn near instantly stop vertical growth the first/second week of flowering with Phosphoload. I used it in week 2 of flowering and the plants didn't put another inch on. Just don't follow the label which calls for 8-10ml/gal...use like 3ml/gal and cut your nutes down to 50-75% of what you normally use.
