For the life of me, I can't picture what you're explaining. Haha sorry upnsmoke!
build a frame out of timber like thisWhat about the ceiling? That's the part that always gets me
a rectangle shape screwed together ( 2" x 1") with insulation board in the middle, you need the door 5mm smaller than the frame (height and width)I'm a biologist, not an engineer. How do I build a door? LOL
I have a 4 by 4 tent and can barley fit 1 block buster hood in there with the intake and exhaust elbows it's 3ft. & 6in.across.I run 1 600 watt lumakek light that provides plenty of light and heat.I turn it down to 400 and use a MH light for vegging.600 watts of heat is easy to vent up and out threw the attic.A 3 by 3 flood tray holds 9 5 gallon pots.If you can figure how to mount two hoods in there you would get more than enough light for a full canopy of tight nice buds.I usually run with 5 plants after a 6 week veg, this leaves plenty of room under the screen to water & work the soil. A 3 by 6 tent might give you a bit more room and a nice even amount of light across the area.I'm getting a 4x4 think my 2 400 watter lumateks be enough? I do 50 watts per sq. ft. ! I going to start 12 plants my legal maximum hope to get at least 10 nice plants squeeze'em in~
Just buy a 4x4 tent, it goes up in minutes and has all the necessary portals, saving u time and worka rectangle shape screwed together ( 2" x 1") with insulation board in the middle, you need the door 5mm smaller than the frame (height and width)
screw hardboard on each side of of the door
add a handle on each side and hang the door with 2 door hinges
could add a dead lock if you want
add a strip of timber round the door frams inside the grow room with draft seal to make the room light/smell/sound proof (well it will reduce it loads)
door opens out wards
Scrog for sure, I've found that it is the most efficient way to ensure the entire grow is optimized in terms of light penetration, watts/sqft, space, etc.4x4 Gorilla tent-
I've been tossing around some ideas for getting the best yield in that space. I'm stuck between doing a SOG with soil (had decent results in the past) or perhaps a HEMPY SCROG with 4-5 plants. I'm ready to accept all advice and techniques. Let me know what you all think.
Much appreciated,

P.s.,

A little late. Ole sharty hasn't been seen since 2015Scrog for sure, I've found that it is the most efficient way to ensure the entire grow is optimized in terms of light penetration, watts/sqft, space, etc.
Are you limited in terms of the amount of time you can veg? If so, 4 plants should fill a 4x4 screen quite quickly if done properly. Top the 4 plants and create 4 main tops out of that. Let them grow out a bit and LST them so that more nodes start growing upward. Eventually you'll have a plant with a nice even canopy that you can easily set a screen 4-6 inches above, then leave the plants be and veg until they each fill about 75% of their space in the screen. Trigger flower, fill the rest of the screen up during the flower stretch, and let the rest grow upward. A 4x4 scrog under a 1000w should pull 1.5-2lb if all is optimal.
If you're able to though, I recommend a single plant scrog. It takes extra veg time to fill up a screen with just one plant, but that one plant is essentially a tree that is capable of more feeding than 4 smaller plants. You'll get better yields with a single plant scrog, but at the cost of an extra 2-4 weeks veg.
Either way, scrog for sure. Happy growing my man!
