Hey guys,

Haven't been as active here lately. I've recently learned that I need shoulder surgery and they've scheduled me for surgery on April 19
My issue is I have girls flowering in all different times. I know I have to harvest before my surgery otherwise it could be weeks before I'm physically capable of doing so.
Although my grow is legal, I don't tell anyone about it so I cannot ask someone for help.

I think I'm just panicking and overwhelmed because now I have to take off 6 weeks of work ect ect
and I am second guessing myself on estimated harvest times

Anyways, the first 3 are Berry Bomb and the last photo is my Blueberry Gum
they're all at 5 weeks & 3 days

I am thinking the Berry Bomb (first 3 pictures) will be done in 2 weeks
Blueberry gum I think will be a last minute harvest but I really think I'll be cutting her about a week short

Anyways guys just looking for second opinions, Thank you for your time

What's recovery like for that I'm sure u can figure out how to harvest with 1 good arm . Try to only use 1 arm while gardening now just to see if u can do it. What are u worried about not being able to do?

2 weeks complete bed rest, 4 weeks slow movement, minimal walking.

Even if I could be up and about and use my other arm I can't lift 20 gallon buckets with one hand

I'm worried the chop will be way early for these girls

Gotcha I wasn't thinking about having to move buckets for flushing and what not u could go 10/14 light schedule and should help speed things up and hope all goes well with the surgery .

No fun man, and thats too bad it will make you chop early!! lord knows youll be needin the meds in full force during recovery!!! best of luck

I assume theres no chance of pushing back surgery?? seems like a silly reason to delay but they should be able to take you whenever YOU are ready... As for moving 20 gal buckets with one arm, what if you loaded them all on rollers before surgery? would make things a tad easier. Or just flushing the day before surgery and then only water from there out?

Not the best of advice and Im sorry I dont have better, I just hate to see you chop hard ass work prematurely.. and I want you to have the meds on deck for when you need it!!!

best of luck. i feel your pain..
but hey, mind over matter, you got this shit brah!!!

Thanks man,

Unfortunately I've already put in for the time at work off. Flushing the day before surgery is a good idea, Maybe I could make that work.

I am hoping what I have left from my first harvest will make it to my surgery date, But it's getting slim. I will need to get all my smoke ready as well so I can have it within reach and ready to go.

Maybe I'll make a bunch of joints in a jar so I can just light and go. I don't think I will be doing well one handed with my bong!

Im in the same perdicament, only mine is a forced move, 2 plants will be ready, the other two big ones really seem like they will want a few more weeks, is there any truth in the 10/14 light in speeding up the ripeness? and with only a possible 3 weeks left in my spot, will switching to that from 12/12 be of any benifit? Anyone who has tried this I would love to hear on it. Thanks

Hey dude good luck on the surgery and dont freak on the forms they make you sign saying "we can throw your arm away if needed" its just ultra precautions they take.

Anyway..i think that you will have a bit more mobility than you think. I had a serious reconstructige surgery done on my foot after a bad accident. Took me over a year to be walking without crutches/castboot/cane ect but i was able to get up and use the bathroom and try to bathe within a few days after surgery...it sucked and hurt but was possible...the one thing that really says cut early though is trimming..you prob wont be able to do that. Are you

sure that you cant trust a brother or parent to help you out? Sucks to put all that work in and get premie buds.

Hey thank you for the replies,

I've been pretty busy with work so I haven't had a real chance to get on here again

I've decided to chop the 2 girls that are the furthest along within the next week, they are beginning to show amber trichomes so I feel a little more comfortable.

I have another 2 that will do well by waiting another 2 weeks.

I'm still undecided if I will wait until the last minute on the 2nd one. However, Because I am nearly out of a bud and certainly don't want to spend weeks at home alone with no bud.. the first one has to come down.

These are the 2 that will come down in a few days/a week

The buds in those pics are close but if you wait a couple weeks they will swell considerably.
