As they do a lot of script signings i could only assume they have a reliable source.

Kirk Tousaw said the injunction may stay and another lawsuit will happen as 6 plants is much less then what any of the Allard plaintiffs need.

Does anyone know what the plaintiffs plant counts are?

Neil Allard
Tanya Beemish
David Hebert
Shawn Davey

Was it mentioned in the trial? see if we can get an idea at the minimumish idea of whats going to happen...6 isn't happening.

The link wouldn't open for me, but...I have no idea what their plant counts were. Dosage can only be determined by a doctor. 6 plants won't supply the needs of the average patient. I think plant counts are a little whacked now...someone with skills could get the same yield from 10 plants as I do from 25. I don't know what the answer is, or if there is one that will address diversion to the BM short of legalization. 6 plants is a good number for rec...

if they even use their old math at 5 plants per gram, 6 plants won't work for someone with 2 g/day.
i would like to hear the logic behind the 6 plant conversation. they can't be that dumb.
once you let the cat out, it's hard to put back in, we were allowed 5 per g so i hope they don't mess with it that much.
all i have ever heard is that 6 plants is for rec users. i know few people with 100+ a day. lets see them argue that 6 plants will produce 9000 g per 3 month cycle.
or even 35 a day-3150 g per 3 months. i don't think that's possible....unless you grow trees and not everyone wants to or can grow those

This mentality stems from people bragging about pulling massive yields off of trees grown under multiple HID's (like Remo during the trial), which is doable for some and unfeasible for others. It's also putting all your eggs in one basket and that really becomes a gamble if you have any problems with your grow (hiccups during their life cycle).

It's getting to the point where being legal is a waste of time and nothing more than a cash grab. Regulate canopy size, wattage, sq footage but leave plant count alone. I'd rather grow a larger count of small flowers than veg for a few months to grow a tree. It sure is frustrating trying to be in this situation to begin with. I would love to hear them argue why these restrictions are now needed with all the avenues they could take to work with patients instead of marginalizing them.

We are not patients in their eyes. We are BM dealer's...diverters....grow-op operators.....biker ridden no goods to them. They are trying to hold us down...not help us. The only folks who understand us are us.
We are a thorn.

No off!nse, but more hearsay means sweet dick all. Arent these guys LP afiliated anyway? Maybe Im thinking of someone else but I could have swore they were.

Either way it means nothing. HC could just as easily keep their old MMAR formula or make a revised version, except this time set a cap on max # of plants. 6 not being ideal at all

Just more pot stirring trying to get patients riled up

Agreed, more speculation!

If this was true, we wouldn't be hearing it from an LP shill...IMO!

MCRCI has been signing since MMAR. Its a network of doctors that will sign you up for your license. Im sure hundreds have gone through the clinic/skype and have signed on. Its the only reason i would believe that there info could be reliable. Nobody wants such bullshit limits.

I still don't buy it. Where were they sending peeps under MMAR? Their website says they will only facilitate legal options. Were they writing MMAR scripts to grow, or force peeps to PPS. Also, IF true (highly unlikely), you think that HC would let this info leak? Again very unlikely....IMO! But, them putting his kind info out there may discourage peeps from setting up new grows...which drives more biz there way short term. Nope, I still think it's just an LP shill flapping their yap to enhance their bottom line.

I laugh every time theres talk of limits..plant counts..etc. Health Canada didnt have the man power to inspect mmar grows back in the day..whos gonna inspect/enforce now when the day comes? Are they gonna expect the police to do this...lol...? Its a complete shit show people. Do what you need to do

they were not in the business of sending patients to PPS just signing the application to HC

Im not questioning you guys or argueing the point but looking at how the states is doing it even in legal states its garbage to our previous program. I dont believe there will be 100s+ plant grows anymore. I hope the plant counts stay the same, anyone would be stupid to want any different. Im just not being naive thinking canada is going to give us dozens of plants and the states get 6. It will be fought and we will win. Just another couple years in court...hope injunction gets expanded.

California caregiver definition
- Yes, primary caregiver is the individual, designated by a qualified patient or by a person with an identification card, who has consistently assumed responsibility for the housing, health, or safety of that patient or person. The caregiver must be 18 years of age or older (unless the primary caregiver is the parent of a minor child who is a qualified patient or a person with an identification card).

washington home grow rules - Those entered in the state's voluntary patient database may cultivate, in his or her domicile, up to 6 plants for the personal medical use and possess up to 8 ounces of useable marijuana produced from his or her plants. If the health care professional determines that the medical needs of a qualifying patient exceed the amounts provided, the health care professional may specify on the authorization that it is recommended that the patient be allowed to grow, in his or her domicile, up to 15 plants, yielding up to 16 ounces, of usable marijuana for the personal medical use of the patient.

If a qualifying patient has not been entered into the medical marijuana authorization database, he/she may grow, in his or her domicile, up to 4 plants for the personal medical use of the qualifying patient and 6 possess up to six ounces of useable marijuana in his or her domicile.

oregon home grow rules - six mature cannabis plants, 18 immature seedlings

michigan home grow rules - no more than 12 marijuana plants kept in an enclosed, locked facility. OR, outdoor plants must not be "visible to the unaided eye from an adjacent property when viewed by an individual at ground level or from a permanent structure" and must be "grown within a stationary structure that is enclosed on all sides, except the base, by chain-link fencing, wooden slats, or a similar material that prevents access by the general public and that is anchored, attached or affixed to the ground, located on land that is owned, leased, or rented" by the registered grower and restricted to that grower's access.

colorado home grow rules - patients (or their primary caregivers) may cultivate no more than six marijuana plants, with three or fewer being mature, flowering plants that are producing a usable form of marijuana.

But, this is not America. Do you think all these states would be OK with losing their limited plants counts they have now? The American MMJ states were designed with low plants counts from the start. It's gonna be a massive fight if HC tries to reduce plant counts that much. You can't stuff current 100 plant grows down to 6...it's not gonna fly, and prolly a BS rumour to start with. No offence intended to you @bigmac, didn't mean to come off as shooting the messenger. :)

Yet more speculation, this time based on a "reliable source". If they put too many rules in like this then they'll have to monitor/enforce them which doesn't make a lot of sense unless they have income, meaning fees or taxes coming from the grows. If that's the way they play it I'll stay under the radar, simple fix. No use crying or worrying about speculative statements in the media of all places.

While it may very well be true, all MCRCI is doing is trying to get attention for their $400 each 'prescription' clinic. Fuck them.
