I wouldn't complain about getting 2 plants out of one seed.
I would consider it a bonus.
I believe the logical answer to your question is - wait and see.
If both grow well - grow them. If not - chop one out.
Talking about unusual, I got a trifoliate JTR male and all my JTRs sprouted yellow cotolydons and grew slowly for the first week or so. Then they grew just fine.
Thats compared to the Jilly Beans.
