Meant to Snip Leaf, Accidentally Got Bud

I have a Blue Dream plant, 2nd week of flowering, and I was cutting off a dead leaf and accidentally snipped a bud spot. Will this harm my plant in any way? I'm kind of worried about it becoming a herm.

Thats definitely is a slim possibility to turn out hermy, but it could also benefit your blue dream. When one budding point is removed, the plant will redirect hormones and energy to the other budding points. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, you should be fine. I have to bend most of my strains due to height constraints of my growing space. I have had such great success on my first grow that I think I would continue bending even if I didn't have to worry about height constraints. I usually bend the top(s) at about a 45 degree angle careful not to break it more than 50%, then build support for it while in recovery that will be used for training and they redirect towards the light. I did this on 3 of my plants and the lower branches caught up to the crown buds in height and density. Some people would be scared to damage their lady 2 weeks into flower, but just look at the photos in my album and you be the judge. This link takes you to a handful also.

Will it turn hermie because you snipped off a bud? No. I always keep an extra plant to the side and throughout flowering snip buds off if im low on stash. Been doing it for years. Never a hermi. Youre golden.

Thank all of you for the reassurance. I was real worried since I snipped it and have rust-colored spots, so I thought everything was ruined.

@TelecomJunkee Thats a cool idea. What do you use to support the bend(s) you make?
