Measles... get vaccinated

I had the measles when I was a kid and yet here I am typing this reply.
I find it funny people will allow themselves to be pumped full
of chems that have not been fully tested or allowed to have years of testing
to see the full potential and side effects.

If you allow yourself to be vaccinated, all of the power to you but don't cry and
complain if adverse effects set in down the road.

Some vaccinations have been linked to serious side effects including autism. Weigh
the risks and choose what is right for you without pressure from anyone.

Are you kidding we're living in a nation where cutting your tits off because you may get cancer is all the rage.

Yeah, you do..........
Really though what does having your tits cut off have to do with vaccinations?

Because a doctor can tell anyone anything and they believe it. How many things have we heard that was bad for you now is known to be good like coffee for example.

Yeah, by Andrew Wakefield. Here we are, fifteen years down the road since Wakefield's "research" with a budding measles epidemic.

By the way, Wakefield lost his right to practice medicine in the UK over his "research".

yet you hold the exonerated "climate gate" scientists in much more contempt than this guy.

so transparent, so two faced.

Exactly my point.
Do what is right for you, with your best (educated) guess.

Docs need to be in school daily to keep up with advancements and changes, but they
are not. They write scripts to mask an illness but all too often do nothing to cure the
underlying illness. Often, they don't fully understand or are ware of the adverse effects
of the script they are writing. So a patient has illness #1 that a script was written for,
script #1 causes another ailment and another script is written further burring the
original ailment.
So it goes on....

No, about the same level of contempt. Wakefield might just be dumb, I don't really know.

Are you a Wakefield wacko too, Bucky? It would not surprise me.

wakefield throws a hell of a knuckleball.

but thanks for admitting that you don't let reality dictate your delusions.

Hey, he is not the only person that brought forth awareness.
If you want to be injected with blind trust then all of the power to you.

Myself, I will trust the medical professionals in my family who all reject vaccines
like the H1N1 vaccine and I will opt out of having mercury injected into me.
Just to be clear the fellow doctors and nurses whom of which they work with
have also rejected most vaccinations as well.

i dont have any unnecessary vaccinations , i truly believe they are horrible, and i wouldnt ever want any

I am right there with you. I don't have any unnecessary vaccinations either. I just get the necessary ones. I have had a buttload, including MMR; so have all my kids and grandkids.

Measles is a very nasty infection. Most people survive just as I and Mr. monolung did. A fair number of people die though, and the unborn children of pregnant women tend to fair badly as well.

I worry that the anti-vaccination sentiment will bite us hard on the collective buttocks. Such a simple and safe public health act loses effectiveness with a significant population of dissenters. cn

For me it's about trusting the system in place.
I don't trust the pharma industry so it really makes
it difficult.

When the H1N1 vaccine was released for example, there was no real
testing going on. The H1N1 outbreak occurred and shortly after a vaccine
was created and put into circulation.

A medical advancement for sure. The ability to create a vaccine so quickly really is
a great thing, however, what will the vaccine cause down the road?
I saw the push to be vaccinated at the time to be odd. There were more people who died from the normal
flu then there was the H1N1 virus.

IMO vaccines must be tested and proven safe before they are set to be used on a large scale.

Let them all die, I'll take whatever vaccines are going so Ill be fine.

Let the unwashed masses die from their own stupidity.

nothing can ever be "Proven Safe' since there's always a chance that some dumbass will find a way to slot himself with anything.

even water is not "Proven Safe" so how can any vaccine (which must contain water to be effective) be "Proven Safe"?

vaccines for the seasonal flu (of which H1N1 was just another variety) are ridiculous unless the upcoming seasonal flu looks like another Spanish Flu epidemic. the CDC have become nervous nellies predicting doom from every virus in sight, and climbbing on board with gun control, while completely ignoring the hazards the world exposes itself to by eliminating the quarantine programs for people with contagious diseases. even TUBERCULOSIS is coming back in the US thanks to the elimination of mandatory quarantine and treatment programs.

but we should all freak out over an influenza strain that is ONLY serious in the old infirm and very young.

people who are vulnerable to a particular disease should get vaccinated, but "everybody needs a flu shot" is just stupid.
