Nice job on both the grow and the journal,Twils they look great! When I saw how big they were before flowering I thought "holy shit he's going to have some big plants!. I bet you get close to 8oz per. I too am growing AI and am interested in her. Ive brought a bag of my finest so I'll spin up a couple, set back,fire em up,pass it around and enjoy the show.

What do you think the max amount of plants i should flower in a four by four under a 600 watt hps for best results? I have two tents so I was thinking six plants in each.

TKO (formerly known as Joker) is in my current grow (Today was day 16 since the 12/12 switch), and I will definitely be keeping her around for a while!

This is the last two plants that i have left from my last grow. They are in the final week of flower. The brown on some of the leaf tips was a bad watering choice that has since been corrected. Unfortunately I think it setback my flowering time by a week.
I flowered ten plants the last time and it got only 8 oz total. I was wondering if that is a good yield or should i put in less plants this time?

If they were anything the size those plants look you should get at least 1oz per plant I'd say.

How long are those ones in flowering? They look rather Sativa dominant so it could be any where all the way up to 14 weeks to mature!

so far they are at 52 days of flower. It's northern lights number five. I was told they should flower normally in fifty to fifty five days. I took my first batch at 54 days, and my second batch at 47 days. both batch were highly potent. This time i think im going to let them go til sixty days to see how they do.

Oh and the other batch were way bigger than these. these ones got up to just under three feet, while earlier batches hit four feet and more.

Damn!

Did you happen to check the trichs with a magnifying glass or a scope? (Cloudy = heady high , Amber = Couchlock body high , 50/50 = head/body high)

To me in those pictures they look like none if any of the pistils have started to turn in color or start to recede. (wanna look for at least 50%++ change in color, I personally wait till they look done, and the trichs in my scope tell me.)

From what I can tell from the pictures they need quite a bit more time, but you are the ultimate judge!

The Northern Lights I have right now is showing a LOT of Sativa dominant characteristics, I have a feeling I'm in for the long run with her compared to the other ladies in the room who are Indica dominant

~This plant here was 26" tall at harvest and was 41g final dry cure weight (1.46oz)(Pictures shown are 9 days before harvest)

This is the story of Joker (Bagseed) which has finally been named.. TKO, cause when you smoke this stuff it knocks your ass out!

It all began on 5/27/2009 when I had a random seed sitting around and decided to germinate it, figured eh what the hell if it grows cool if not what ever! (I had other girls in the garden so no big loss)

She germinated rather quickly! Off we were!

Planted in a nice mix of FF Ocean Forest, Light Warrior, Perlite as soil, and she sure did wanna grow!



Needless to say she got overly loved for the first week.. Over watered none the less...



That problem got fixed quick! I started to let the soil dry out more and she really took off!

Week by week she kept growing very vigorously, super healthy and showing all the good signs! Sweet!

Still not sure at this point if she was a boy or girl, my friend and I started jokingly calling her the Joker and it kind of stuck.

Sure enough, with the other girls I had going and this wonderful lady, and the cramped closet that was their home.. I quickly ran out of room.. Knowing a good friend who would take care of her and grow her out much longer than I'd be able to, I had to send her to a new home...

After nearly 4 months she's ready! Finally! Had a nice long veg! Ended up being nearly 6' before flowering! My friend flowered her out and here is the end result... Thus naming this gal TKO, because the first time I smoked this stuff I was having a super bad anxiety attack and holy sh*t! Instantly gone! and.. I was ready for bed! She knocked me the f*** out!

Now... the smoke...
Smell: Very sweet almost like pineapple, but also a real sour skunky smell almost like a fresh ran over skunk

Taste: Very smooth smoke both out of a bong or a pipe, the taste is very candy like with almost sour apple after taste.

Effect: Instant head rush, exhaling the head rush turns into a very calming body rush! Couchlock to the max! Did wonders for both my Anxiety and Insomnia! Don't smoke this if you have anything important to do that day!

And now.... She's back! As a clone from the original! This baby is sticking around my arsenal for a while I'll tell you that much

It was only a long read because of the minutes I spent ogling each picture of that bud dripping with tris.

It is going rather... Well.. Stalled right now.. I thought I had everything to do what I needed to do.

I'm now running back to home depot to pick up the rest of what I need..

Going to have
2: 5" air stones on the bottom
4: 1" round air stones spread throughout the bucket

What size of net pot is good for just 1 plant in a 5 gal bucket?

Think I've finally got my design worked out for this single plant 5 gallon bubbleponics (going to actually try to make a feeder tube) bucket with a 5 gallon (recirculating) reservoir on the out side of my tent..

I'll post some pictures of my failed drip system attempt later on, maybe some more minds thinking on how to make it work is what I need! ... Maybe I just need to actually buy a pump from the hydro store instead of one from wal-mart and rigging it up..

Back to work on the test system

Here's my Idea about my bubbleponics buckets...

Red arrows indicate water flow direction

Valve is for easy maintenance, There will also be one attached to the top line(forgot to put it in drawing)
