Right now, the Illinois program is very restrictive and if you do not have a specific QI, the doctor is not going to legally be able to sign the paperwork needed. My suggestion is to look into the candidate in the state and your are that are both pro medical marijuana and pro recreational marijuana and vote for them. My youtube channel has a few videos that summarize a few politicians stances on cannabis. Essentially, we want to put candidates into office that will protect and expand the medical program and also work towards legalization. There are already bills that have passed the house and senate in Illinois that just need to be signed into law by the Governor. Hell, If the right candidates are elected, we could have legal rec marijuana by 2019-2020
