Nope only a handful of government regulated producers, for specified patients. It is extremely hard to get a contract though, but you could get a person who needs a grower to get you to do that for them, or they may have made changes in which case you may be able to have several patients.

there is tons of medical dispensaries in Toronto the tcc, C.A.L.M , c.m.c.c they are running as non profit organizations and if you want to start a dispensary that is the best way look into non profit organisations and how to start one because in canada there are two options for medical patients Health canada or non profit collectives. if you try to open a dispensary as a business you will never get a business licencee. and if you do manage to start a non profit organization like many have in toronto you better makesure you have a rigorious screening process for your clients and your location is in a respectful community or you will undoubtable end up getting busted quick these organizations operate within a legal grey area and all of them at one point or another have had attention from local law enforcement the compassion club in montreal was completely shut down 2 years ago and are still in court. in toronto about a year and a half ago C.A.L.M was raided and had to shut down for a few weeks / months but is back open the only dispensary in toronto that hasent been shut down in the last 8 years is the t.t.c which i believe was started by the same company that run THC the bong shop downtown and is also part of a compassionate care organization that spans from coast to coast with a dispensary in almost every province in at least 1 of the major city's . in order to become a member to these clubs you have to visit the website print out the application and get your doctor to sign it if you have one of the listed conditions that they accept for registration.
