hi all;
So I've been hanging around for a couple of months (just dropped the seeds on grow #2 which is my first photo grow) and it seems the more I think I know, it's actually less.
Medical vs recreational? What defines the strains.?
I know cbd concentrations make something more medical but is it just strain strengths?
So anything strong is medical? Doesn't the grower thus become part of the medical equation?

The way I understand it is that the "medical" crowd try to get high concentrations of cbd for its narcotic like or pain management end of it . Not necessarily stronger pot just higher in cbd ,THAT blobs me out but does ease pain. For my wife this is recreational lol , I don't like to just gel out but my wife does . I enjoy the zippy head snap of a good"get shit done" sativa. It's all medical medicine it's how you use it that determines the recreationality of it. I presume it would not be a much uplifted recreational atmosphere if everyone was on some high cbd and low THC shit lol.I'm probably wrong but this is how I have always viewed it and I grow "medically" for my pops.

I don't consider any strain to be strictly rec or medical... it all depends on the person. I know for my pain I need to have a high potency strain, I notice high thc content are especially good for night time pain because it tends to make me tired and be able sleep for a longer solid chunk before I wake up and have to move.
With high Cbd strains (I've only grown Cbd shark shock, but have tried others) I notice I get a similar amount of pain relief with a more "awake" and alert state of mind. I've never tried a strain with less cbd than a 2:1 ratio cbd:thc.
