medicine vs ganja

So I'm watching "I didn't know I was pregnant." Every single commercial is for a different kind of medication. Before I lose my train of thought, it got me thinking...

With all these pharm products, I've barely heard of them and they're legal yet a medication / cannabis that everyone knows and wants legal isn't? I've done my homework and its interesting to understand the actual events that are happening right now to make it legal.

So far I'm keeping my eye one a few things, but not limitied to: anonymous, occupy movement, ontario appeal this month and california. What is everyone watching now involving legalization?

Today's Big Pharma was brought over here by the Nazis after WWII.

I can't really watch TV anymore, but I enjoy movies and some ( a couple ) TV shows.

April 12, 2011 the ontario medical marijuanna was deemed useless. It was appealed 3 months after (90 days) from august 12, 2011. August 12 + 90 days = november 12, 2011. So the court hearing should be november 12, 2011? Anyone hear anything new?

just seen the blurbs about the whitepaper the gov't was looking at with health canada, you know raising the penalties for growing, outlawing caregiver growing and letting 4 or 5 big growers suppy all of canada, letting doc's perscribe it without having to deal with the hoops in place now(health canada) , but nothing other then that

they can't patent a plant. if they could they'd have been prescribing bud for decades and telling the kiddies to ask their doctor. that's too funny. they practically force feed people adhd and depression meds but won't even reschedule cannabis on the dea list.

So to get medical marijuanna in ontario I just ask my doctor? Didn't they already do that and it wasn't working? No doctors in ontario prescribe it though. It does wonders for my anxiety and depression but not sure I can apply with just that. if I'm not mistaken, in ontario we have to be deathly ill or suffering from chronic pain. So you mentioned health canada. I don't get the difference between health canada and no health canada?

I know usa has the peoples voice, petitions for the white house. Do we as canadians have something similar? I'm tired of harper, I could do a better job. Matter of fact maybe I will run for prime minister one day in the near future.

So how does one get a medical marijuanna license in ontario if doctors here are scared and ignorant to cannabis? If it works better than anti depressants, shouldn't I have a say?

well to get a licence you have to have the doc fill out forms and submit them to health canada who makes the decision... after lots of time you may or maynot get the card .. the doc only recommends to health canada at the moment .. the white paper says that health canada wants out of it and will let the doc's perscribe it and you get it filled at the depot .. thats my take on it ... the point is now very few docs will and most of those that dont, dont wanna perscribe it because it puts them under the microscope by health canada and the board of docs....

What really gets me is that for every "benefit" of the pharmaceutical there are at least 4 negative side affects, and that's not including the lethal ones. Ha. and MJ is illegal? The only negative about MJ is when Im out. No, but for real i do get a lil paranoid every now and then. But I recognize it and usually laugh at myself. Nothing like being on prescribed meds.

Alright after work ill post an email I received from health canada. There's a company that sells the license for 250 online. It was even linked to health canada website. They set you up with a doctor in bc via webcam and pay and get the card. Not sure if its legit, at the same time I wonder why their website is on health canada. Google medical marijuanna ontario and you should see the .gov website.
