Hi Guys !
I’m new here and to this whole growing thing so please take it easy on me haha
I have germinated 5 Melon Mango Sherbet Auto flower seeds and all 5 popped , with 1 in particular showing a very strong tap root.
I planted the seeds into soil and watered with a tiny amount of cal mag and put them on an 18-6 light schedule.
after 24 hours 3 of the 5 seeds have sprouted from the soil showing large purple roots , is this normal ? I have heard this could be down to genetics and all 3 seem to have it.
1 seems to be coming on fine as normal but 2 of the 3 the ones with the biggest roots do not have any leafs the tops still seem to be closed ? Is this normal and is it me being impatient ? Should I just allow time ? The shell casing seems to have fallen off each one as I can see it on the soil. I will attach photos sorry for the poor quality and any advice would be gladly appreciated.
