Wtf is an Osram? Can you be a little more clear about what you are talking about here? There's no ballast needed to run cfl's, you can screw them into any standard light socket unless you are using a large 100+ watt bulb/fixture.was googling cfl homemade light fixtures, came across this blog, im never buying an osram. Do these things have any failsafe's inside of the ballast? leave my lights unattended most of the day, i want to feel safe.
