Meltled snow for watering.

Here we go guys, was just a :joint: outside and was thinking of capturing some rain water, but it can be a hassle.
But what I was wondering was if we can use snow for our :leaf: as it is also natural and pure crystalline water ice.
If that was melted and bought upto normal temperature can it be used for the plants.
Can someone with a ph meter find it suitable??
something else says this :

so any ideas or opinions??

I worked on Mt.Hood in Oregon for years and I was always told not to eat snow because its very dirty. Once it melts we have the perculating action to clean it before we use it. I would melt some and take it in for tests at a water lab. Most cities have one
