Ha ha, point taken. Never been full-blown raided like that until today. It's always been a knock and procure search warrant/probable cause to search, etc. Never in my own apartment or alone either.

Turns out my roommate saw them standing outside our door beating on it while I was under the impression that they were pranksters, and he turned around and left the building, ha ha. I probably would have done the same though.

They still would confiscate all contraband and eventually you would have to come back to your living headquarters. But damn your roommate didn't even warn you to leave with him?

Nah, if I was in his position I have walked up to them and charged head on into defending my rights. When they asked if I would open the doors I would have said as long as you respect me and my roommates personal effects and our persons...

If they charged into their like that with so much confidence they had to possess more than probably cause... I too know my rights, but rights get stomped on when you clearly brake the law!
