I tried to do a garage grow last spring... That was also my first hydro grow. That was also my last garage grow! Between the lights and the record temps we received, I couldn't keep the temp under 90 at times. And if I let the lights during the day... well over 100 degrees many times. Topped that grow off by burning the plants with the lights. DOAH! Its fun to learn and look back and laugh.

When I first started embracing my green thumb I got ml and tsp confused once. The difference between 2ml and 2 tsp apparently can be quite a shock. I blame it on school. Stupid customary units.

Silas, it's sucking the nutrients out of it's fan leaves, which makes the fan leaves those colors. It's different for all strains. Like my grape ape grow was purple and yellow. Well the cold weather turned it purple but yellow is when fan leaves are using its nutrients.

looks genetic ..... possibly a titch overripe from the look of the buds but the plant itself looks perfectly healthy to me..... some strains have more carotenoid/anthocyanin than others.

Haven't really fucked up too much in a long time, but I did manage to kink a main feed line while I was turning a plant. Luckily, it was the last pot on that line, so only one plant missed it's feeding schedule and wilted. I caught it in time, got some Ubiogrow, fed it a whole bunch of that shit, and back it came. No harm, no foul. I did get a lot less finished medicine off that one though. Little bastard.

I dropped a fan on a nice 2 1/2' tall plant. It quickly became 1 1/2' tall. But it recovered and the stem where it broke is ridiculously strong now. Ultimate in high stress training.

my posts in this thread disappeared but i had posted about using over damp soil that reeked of sulfur, airing it out for a few days and planting a small plant in it. the initial result was a bunch of sick looking curled leaves, but a couple weeks later and she bounced back like a champ and started growing aggressively. just thought i'd update.

weed really is hard to kill.

once, my carbon filter's support wire snapped and the whole thing fell down and crushed the plant it landed on

it was rather like something from loony toons
