Well, I was stoned outta my mind last night, and somehow I decided it's a good idea to start 12 more seeds...So I sterilized my equipment and hands, started soaking some rockwool in 5.5 pH'd water, and put them into paper towels at 1 AM...Well, I get home from work tonight, check the seeds at 10:30, and all 12 have cracked
in under 24 hours and are now enjoying either dirt or rockwool.
The following seeds will now be grown indoors, hopefully finding a mother worthy of next years outdoor season...

Anyway, I just upgraded my indoor grow area, and it now consists of a 4' tall x 2.5' deep x 5' wide mother tent, and a 7' tall x 7' wide x 6' deep flowering room...I'm in the process of getting a window AC unit for the room I exchange air in, but all that will fit my window is a 5000 BTU and I can't afford a portable AC AND everything else. Besides, window units are WAY more effecient, and at about 100 bucks you can't beat that price.
I will be purchasing an HPS or two soon...I'm thinking about starting small with a 400, and I have an idea of a perpetual where I'm flowering for the first half under CFL's for their stretch period, and the second half under the 400...if heat isn't a big issue, I'm gonna add a 600 to the room eventually, and then
hopefully flower in three week stages...1st stage,3 weeks under the CFL's,2nd stage, 3 weeks under the 400, and finished up under the 600...or might move the 600 to the 2nd stage...But thats when the mothers in my mother tent are ready, and that won't be for like a month or two(except the Dr. Grinspoon, I can take clones off her in like a week, she's a fast one!)
But for now I'm gonna play around with these seeds, starting a "regular" grow, working on getting my HPS, probably veg 'em for a month in my flowering room under CFL's and switch it to 12/12 with the HID, since I'm not flowering anything at the moment. I am going to run 5 individual DWC coolers which is where the seeds in the rockwool are going, and I have 7 seeds in soil. Hopefully everyone grows, since I know ALL seeds were viable...lol...sucks killing MJ due to user error
Open for suggestions. Right now I have a dual 7" window fan exhausting(two 7" fansside by side in one unit), but I'll eventually end up getting a decent inline, and I have one 8" and two 4" ports for passive intake, but will add more shortly...I'll get pics up soon, it's still real messy. I have an electrician who I smoke with sometimes, known forever, and I'll have him come fix me up when I'm ready for my 2nd light. He's set up more than one grow room in his day, I suspect. But until then I'm planning on running the AC from an extension cord on a different circuit. Wish me luck!
