Hey Meta, sucks about the early flowering. At least it's one less male you have to get rid of. My LSD's are taking for ever to sprout. Germing 2 Shiva Shanti that were dipensery bag seeds, and a Magnus Gen. Exile which was a freebie. I was looking through this magazine Maximum Yield last night looking for nute co. that were offering free samples. I came across Optic Foliar. They have a 3 part foliar spray formula that looks pretty interesting. Hereis the E- mail address so you can give your name and mailing info.
dinesh@opticfoliar.com He got back to me in a day. Anyhow Peace, jet

Awesome! I'll have to check out those free samples. And yeah, bummer about those 2 plants flowering early, but once again they WERE a few weeks ahead of everyone else, so hopefully the rest will be ok. And like I said, I have all those new seedlings to plant, so it doens't matter if a couple flower early. Though I'm still hoping the rest will just veg out for a while.

Nice hook bro!
Like captain hook? Arr matey, we be pirates of the ganja!

I AM still using the critter cage, they seem to be very happy in it. And no more critters chomping on my plants, so I gotta sya I'm very happy with the way it's turning out. Plants are stretching a tad, but that was expected cause my light exposure sorta sucks, but I'm working wiht what I got! And yeah, there will be plenty of music on my videos throughout the year, and at some point I'll probably break down and just start talking in them.

I wanna do the video thing too but it's a pain in the ass. LOL :D
Yeah, but my digital camera eats my rechargable batteries in about 20-30 pictures. Somehow the FlipCam will keep a charge through like 10+ videos...And one video covers prety much everything I would want to take pictures of. Mostly it's just a battery issue...lol...because lord knows the clarity on pictures is vastly superior to the Flip, so I'll still take pics every now and then.

So I woke up this morning, and after a nice hour or so long smoke session, it was time to get to work! I started by planting 6 seedlings outside. I know I said I was going to wait, but they're so young I think it's best if they just basically lived their whole life outside. So 4 of the Skywalker seeds, 1 Blue Mystic, and homer371's Dr. Grinspoon are now in 2.5 gallon pots chilling with the other plants.

But thats just the beginning. I decided it's time to trim the trees, and after I got done working with the pole saw I was left with a 8 foot tall pile of brush. Haha, my plants are going to love me, I just bought them a lot more afternoon sun, and after my second tree trimming session next week, they'll have even more! So we just got done chopping up all the branches and stuffing them in several yard waste bins, and now it's time for a well deserved smoke session.

Got some God's Gift in the bong, been taking snaps for the past hour. Feel about 10 lbs. lighter after sweating it out...Very nice results though, and after next monday's yard work I'll have bought them at LEAST an hour, probably more, of DIRECT sunlight!!

some sweat is worth the sunlight!!!!!!!!!
Oh for sure! Alot of people don't realize how much work goes into these outdoor gardens. It's pretty much like I work full time as a chef, and in my "off" time I'm a farmer. Good hard work in the sun is rewarding though, and I'm gonna enjoy it as much as I can while I'm still young and fit enough to get down and dirty. But yeah, hauling soil and digging holes and transplanting and trimming trees and building greenhouses and lots of watering...the list goes on and on...But I mean, it's SOOOO worth it in the end, or at least we hope it is, because every year I get back out there and work myself to the bone preparing and maintaining the outdoor garden. :)

Yeah man, looking forward to some pics, sorry you can't upload right now. Maybe send an email to support? Anyway, it's nice to know that you guys appreciate the hard work that goes into these gardens! I just hope it pays off in the end!

So I did a bit of cleaning up on the grow, things were starting to get sloppy...lol...Anyway, we got a bit of rain last night, so that post in the middle of the pots with party cups on it was used to help tent the plants, so the water wouldn't pool up on top of their mini greenhouse. Also, there used to be lattice on the frame behind my plants, removed that to let more light in. That along with the recent and upcoming tree trimming should vastly increase the amount of direct sunlight that hits the plants.

Next I transplanted a bunch of the skywalker bagseeds, along with the remaining Blue Mystic and Dr.G. to the 2.5 gallon pots and put them outside. And finally, transplanted one clone and one Blue Mystic to some the big pots. Not sure if the BM will turn out female, but I transplant one of my 18 gallon pots into the 45 gallon smart pot later. I'm going to leave these plants outside of the mini greenhouse, and hopefully whatever was eating them can't/wont climb the tall pots...lol...It's an experiment, they're at the mercy of mother nature for the time being.

So as another day draws to a close on the farm, It's nice to think about the work that has already been put into it so far and wonder what I would be doing with my time if I weren't growing. I don't even know, to be honest, and I cannot imagine willingly choosing to work this hard on my "free" time for any other hobby. Some people fix cars, others do extreme sports, I like to garden.

They are growing fast!!! This is when all your hard work starts to pay off!!!! but man, I gotta ask what kind of awesome rooting hormone did you use to get that stick to grow so fast?!?!?!?!?!?!?1 hahahaha seriously though, outstanding job on them. once you get your tree trimming done, how many hours of direct sunlight do you figure to have?

I'm with you on the permanent garden. I'm trying to relocate someplace where that is an option, and have recently just been thinking about purchasing land in the middle of nowhere. I dunno, I grow for personal consumption because it's too expensive of a habit for me otherwise...But it's more than just that...I think it's important to have a project, with a goal. It really helps with keeping myself motivated and staying out of a rut which too many find themselves falling into. Thanks for stopping by, I'll be following your thread throughout the season as well!

Haha, to get the stick to grow so fast I sprinkled a mixture of viagra and powdered tiger penis into the soil...An hour later that thing was reaching for the sky, ready for liftoff! Haha, thanks for the encouraging words. It's funny, because to me I feel like they're stretching too much, and not really branching out like I would like them to, but it;s still early. Thats partially why I threw so many of the Skywalker seedlings outside, because I was slightly worried about the state of my plants, but every time I go out to look at them I think to myself "Oh, I'm tripping, they're doing ok". And then not 5 minutes after walking inside I'm thinking "Man, they're all fucked up, whats wrong with them?" Haha, I guess I would like tighter nodes and more branching, but I have to work with the sun exposure I have. It should be a lot better in a month. Anyway, after I trim the tree they'll have about 6-7 hours direct sunlight now, and hopefully more later in the season. It's enough, but I want more more MORE!!

6 hours of direct light is pretty damn good!! don't worry they are not stretched at all for being outdoors. just keep showing them that love!!!
