Method to remove males from SCROG?

Going to remove male plant, only one plant of the 5 tomorrow, from my SCROG.
We'll see how it goes. I am thinking I will find the main stem cut it wait a couple hours and pull all the wilted stem branches.

In the future I may buy fem seeds.
I know using nonfem seeds is not ideal (understatement) but I'm working with what I have.
I'll post with results as to the difficulty of pulling the male.

I used one year old frozen pollen to get the seeds.
I will try now to use the 3 year old pollen to create more seeds and will post the result if the pollen is still viable.
(Freezing pollen works just keep the pollen sealed while it acclimates to the temp/humidy change, this keeps the condensate on the outside.)

Since I used the pollen of WW on a WW does that make these plants WW F1's?
I believe the F1 plants should have some differences amoung themselves and from the parent WW's.
I am trying to discern differences by rubbing the stem and sniffing.
It seems there may be some differences between plants in both strength and scent but I am not sure if this is my imagination.
The one that has a real nice scent and smells strong I will pollenate with the original WW for the next gen grow. F?

well if your parents are both white widow ? then because they are f1 your seeds will be f2 ? i think thats right - if you where crossing two different strains you would have a hybrid or an f1 strain ...
you have f2, then if you cross those you will have f3 on so .... you can create a stable hybrid yes, but their will always be slight differences between plants grown from seed ... good luck anyway

I just pulled the male, no problem done in minutes. I read Clarke's botany excerpt on this site by searching "F1", I guess my "F2's" will show even more differentiation. Exciting. Really I am just meddling with my grow, not trying to grow for smoke, or effeciency or weight production, just a stealth "snicks" grow, avid gardener wanting to learn from the reputable and savvy marijuana growers. ps the search function on this site is much improved.

Well so far it hasn't been too bad. Pulling the male was easy. Of course I am way down on production weight by at least 20% now, yes that is the price of ScrOging unsexed plants. : ) ps The plant waste will go into my vermicompost where I hope to produce some really stoner fishing worms. : )

Oh yeah my scrog screen is made of a display wall, metal rods that form maybe 2.5 inch squares, maybe that is why it was so easy to work with?
The weight of the screen alone keeps the plants from pushing the screen up.
