Looks like its going well, after seeing what people can do with these tiny spaces im really looking forward to making use of the reasonably large space I have. don't let your eyes off her Mewk and remember to keep us updated ;)

Does anyone here know what they're talking about when it comes to nutes for flowering. I've been going the way of just using plain bottled water.

But I have some tomatoe nutes under the sink, and wondered if I can make any use of them.

The N-P-K is 24-8-16.

If they're no good, that's no problem, I'll just carry on with water, as I'm not gonna buy in anything specially.

hey mewk, you can get nutes for flowering time, personally I just use mg, admittedly up to full strength now, I`m sure tom nutes will be fine, try 1 feed and if she responds well use the nutes again, my regime is 1st/water/nutes, 1/4,1/2 then full strength, 2nd/water/Epsom salts, 1/2 teaspoon, 3rd/plain water, every 2 to 3 days, it seems to work just fine.....hope this helps m8.....good luck and happy growing edit:1st water would say be at the start of the week........2nd watering would be 2/3 days later in week......3rd watering would be 2/3 days again later........hope that explains a little better :-)

do you think the lst like your doing or scrog would be more effective for 2 plants in a pc grow??

I would definitely say LST. Scrog is pretty much unworkable in such a small space. Don't get me wrong, scrog was 100% my initial thoughts on the whole thing. But after some wise words from the good eggs on RIU, I changed my mind. And I'm so glad I did.

I would also recommend only one plant for a PC grow. I think two is pushing it a bit. My dresser cab I had a few years back was about 8-10 times the size of a pc grow and that was packed to the limits with just two plants.

If you LST with some care and a bit of pre-planning. You'll fill up all your space with no problem.

I've filled up a decent amount of the PC case with just my one girl, but I think if I'd had the common sense to plant her at one end of the pot, rather than in the middle, she'd have filled the entire length of the case.

iv been thinking about it 2 plants lst or scrog or just one they both are looking so good it would be so hard for me to put one outside haha :-?
my pc is 26 inches tall and i dont remember how wide just the normal id think its a cheiftec i believe.
i was thinking just veg them for 3 weeks maybe even less depending on the progress this week since yesterday was day 14 in the box.
iv just been using old cell phone cords and shoe laces i like your Ethernet technique.
i have one girl exactly what your talking about in the box leaning completely over the edge lsted out.
im going with lst this grow and one plant scrog next.we shall see how this go's haha:peace:

hit her with those nutes at under quarter strength, Mewk.

Your soil will have had quite a lot of nitrogen/veg nutes in it i expect, which will be running out by now. Just remember to keep it under-strength as tomatos are heavy feeders compared to weed.

Yep man, it's all goin gravy. She stinks almighty latey, so I'm trying my best to only take a quick peep every day or so. Tho tonight, when the lights go off, I've really gotta sort out the light/smell leaks, as they're over-riding the usefulness of the carbon filter at the moment. I chucked some nutes in, at about 1/4 strength as recommended by Snotboogie, I'll maybe try watering with the nutes every other water, and see how that goes.

Will get some pics up tonight or tomorrow. Not seeinn much difference really from the last pics tho.

I would definitely agree with the 1cycle neut/1cycle water Mewk. Thats how i work it at least. Once the girls stopped growing you would probably want to be even more sparing with them (because it is an N heavy nute, and the plant wont be using quite so much).

I seem to remember youre using organic soil too, is that right?

If that is the case it might be worth getting some organic nutes. they wont harm the micro-herd in the soil.

With no nutes so far, thats some good lookin bud mewk.
Love the organic style but those girls do get hungry.
I read that ur lookin to use nutes and the ones u mentioned seem like a veg npk but if it works it works.
Have u fed her yet?

Hey all, sorry about the delay in posts. The nutes are going okay, I've been using a really diluted version of the tomatoe nutes I've got to hand. I did give her two feedings in a row with them, because I was out of bottled water. Just checked on her about 30mins ago and noticed that she has got slightly burnt tips at the ends of the leaves. She was pretty dry, so I just gave her a good drenching of regular bottled water again.

I'm not sure if I might be a little ahead of where I thought I was. Only I've noticed that she seems to have about 80-90% brown hairs. I haven't checked the trychomes for how cloudy they are, but will get on to that today or tomorrow.

Otherwise, everything's been the same-as. She doesn't look like she's really putting on any extra weight, and there doesn't seem to be any other noticeable growth.

Hey Mewk, subbed up cant wait to see the results! quick question has that shot glass method worked everytime for you, ive never seen that!? so you put it in the shotglass with water seed floats and just kinda wait for it to sink? then when it does just put it in the soil, pretty cool nice job on the set up and lst'ing!

they all grow diff. long as those buds are forming, you're golden. looks great man.

This was the first time I'd ever used the shotglass technique. But yeh, it worked a treat. Distilled water, drop the seed in. Wait 12-24 hours I think. When I went back mine was still floating, but one little prod and it sunk to the bottom. I then put it about 1cm down into the soil in a tiny pot, put it on the windowsill, and after 2-3 days, she broke through. Would do the same routine again, the only pain was tracking down some distilled water.

So here's my girl, she's doing okay. She's still stinking out the room, as I've yet to get around to fixing the light/smell leaks from the box. She's primo sticky, lots of red hairs. Also I'm spotting quite a bit of amber, when I put her under the microscope.

All feedback an advice is welcome.
