MG user's no haters

I use MGMC with good results, its inexpensive, & available. However I have found if you water too much you can burn your girls, and by adding to strong of nutes to early in the soils life big time burn. Like they said earlier its all about how you use it, and that goes for any type of soil, soilless, and hydro. Good luck and happy growing!!!

Most inexperienced MG soil and fert users make the same mistakes, fertilizing during veg and overwatering.
I've been using it for years and have learned to NEVER use MG nitrogen based fert until the first 3 wks of flower. During stretch is when it's needed and not before. 3-4 wks into flower I switch to MG Bloom Booster at FULL strength. In a deep 10" pot, only about 4 cups is needed every 5 days.
Put a calendar in your grow room and keep track of feeding and watering schedules.

I've just transplanted a new batch of babies into MG organic potting soil, and I must say it blows away what I was using before. I mixed some blood meal, bone meal, and a bit of perlite in with the potting soil and my plants couldn't be happier. I had 2 seedlings that were deformed-looking and not growing as well as they could, and since I've put them in the MG mix they are really taking off. I finally got around to picking up a ph meter, and the MG soil mix I made up was RIGHT ON, didn't need to add anything to adjust the ph at all. Not only that, but the MG soil was much less barky and chunky out of the bag than the other organic soils I've used.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with MG organic potting soil.

Even if MG produced the best biggest and most potent buds everytime gauranteed, I would still not use it, because I care about the environment, and do not want to poison it.

i ve used mg on my first grow so far so good going on sec now so far so good. just watch over watering easy to do

Wish you cared about your reading level as much as the environment, if you did you would've read the part where it said no haters.

MG has organic products, too. Never heard of bone meal referred to as "poison". I thought they use it to make pet food? Sure smells like dog food, anyhow.

I use it in flower. 15-30-15. I use it lightly...the plants always have good growth spurts the day after it's use.

It's simple. Inexpensive. I've had one box of it for 15 years now...still works fine.

do you drive a car?
Occasionally, but I do not own one. (swinganamiss) As much as I hate MG. I hate cars more. Do I do things that harm the environment? Yes I do. But I do my best not to. And I don't even have kids! I should milk this planet for all that its worth just like everyone else. I would get more respect from people if I did that. What a shame that is, but you know its true.
The only reason I posted on this thread is that the majority of people dont realize that there IS a difference between organic and non organic agriculture. There is more to consider than just the plant that you are growing. When you buy a MG product, you are placing a vote. A vote FOR chemicals that harm the planet and have a negative impact on your own health, and everyone elses health too. Same when you buy a car. You're saying "hey, I really like this thing". That's why cars are such JUNK. because people love them and buy them up like candy. there's no reason for the manufactures to make cars better. You all love them just the way they are. I worked in the auto industry for many years. Its kinda like the way people wont eat at the resturant at which they used to work because they know how unsanitary it is. Ignorance IS bliss.
The votes you place everyday for the things that you buy are much more powerful than the presidential votes you place once every 4 years.
The future of agriculture on earth will be organic, or it will be non-existent.

well then, i vote for cars.  bongsmilie

I use it.Because it's cheap, and I don't have the money to buy $40 a bottle fertilizer.I'd rather use the extra money to buy toilet paper, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.
I've never gone full strength with it, and it worked fine.

i compost yet still use chem fertilizers , last week i made compost tea ,tomorrow i feed with chemicals , and i vote for cars

I compost my MG soil after I use it.
I add more MG Nitrogen fert in the process along with everything out of my veg garden, kitchen, and discarded male plants.
That's as organic as it gets here.
