mh hps variant

so i have a 400w digital ballast i have been running a mh and veging my plants i have decided that i would switch the light out for a hps 400w every other day would this be benifical or hinder my babies?

i never heard of that.. i dont have a digital ballast but i have a HPS BULB that has crazy crazy blue spectrum called HILUX GRO, and i also have a HORTILUX bulb for flowering and i usually just switch em over when im ready to flower

i have a duel lamp i can run a 400 hps or a 400 mh thats my veg ballast and i have a 600w hps for flowering in another room

i would simply just veg under the MH then when ready to flower dont bother with switching from MH to HPS every 2nd day.. just switch em when ready to flower and leave em
