im about to test this out in the next week.
it makes sense because the blues have more UV in them
which has been said to help with resin production.
and MH produce less heat.

any opinons on this? or has anyone tried this?

hopefully more resin that anything.
my nugs are too dense if anything.

i have a AK47 strain that i am trying to dial it in.
Been getting dark areas on the inner part of the buds when you break it open. if that makes sense.
i dont think its mold, but could be the start.
so i am actually going to drop my mid bloom booster and see what happens.

Today is week 6. just switched my lights to MH but only 2 of the 4. so hopefully i can see a visual difference and determine if its worth it or not.

Interesting ..I run hps for flower but add uv-b bulbs too. This is a trial #2.

any good results adding the uv-b bulbs?
what bulbs are you using?
and are you only running them at the end of the light cycle?

i use a 250whps - eye hortiluxand a 250w cmh- phillips
i put my uvb 5 on for 2 hours a day mid day cause low wattage lights have little uvb

and it is true that cmh or mh is better for final 1/3 of flower increase final bulk up and trich production
the first 1/3 is better served by mh or cmh as well to reduce stretch
the middle 1/3 is best served by hps to get rock hard buds

so i just just both lights for all of flower spinning pots and rotating position under lights

i like the mulyt spectrum setup i use -and i think the bulbs i use are the best out

good luck to all

there is many way to play this game
experiment find whuts best for you and your setup

sorry for the delay update. i currently DO not run MH in the later weeks. i didnt see a big enough improvement on resin production to take the time and change the bulbs twice.
