Even Jordan's teammates described him as an asshole and a monster. He was a very petty, insecure, and controlling person (remember the Hall of Fame speech?). Many people who are the world's best at something share these traits, it's a common reason that they are in the #1 spot. It doesn't take anything away from him as a player, he was a god.
