Thanks for that. The comments below the article are enlightening too. It seems many are done denying the medical benefits of cannabis. Many conservatives just seem more comfortable if it's processed into a pill, particularly if it renders the drug non-intoxicating. Activists must advance the view that it is a combination of multiple canabinoids that is medically beneficial-- some studies have shown Marinol to be less effective then the plant and it's concentrates.

Indeed, it is about time that those on the far right of the US political spectrum see the true and righteous benefits of this great plant.

The comments are mostly supportive of legalization/decriminalization, so that is encouraging. The culture warriors amongst the SoCons are loud and irritating but I think most conservatives just want fiscal responsibility and little else from the government.

I am surprised FDR allowed those camps to be closed. Wasn't that part of the "new deal"?

By the way, I have been to Manzanar many times. It has been resurrected as a national monument of sorts (wrong terminology I think but it is a restored "historic place" now).

Buck's scared he'd leave his wife and become like us, for someone like her. So he has to pretend his ugly Democrat women aren't trolls. Whereas mostly shallow men vote for women based on how hot they are. So you tend to have fairly attractive Republican women.
