I've cooked in everything from fast food to fine dining and I can assure you that other that a few waitresses there is nothing at Bob Evans that I want to eat. I admit they do a good job at competing with Dennys but that about all.
You'll eat a Fillet O' Fish from McDonald's but not a single thing from Bob Evans? :) I like Bob Evans. A good joke would have been the Texan on State St.

I didn't say I won't eat there. I just don't think it is good. Neither is McDonands. Yes the Texan sucks too. I miss Bonanaza, why can't anyone make a decent Cod dinner?

I forgot, El Paso Taco on Gratiot and Center in Saginaw is Awesome, really small menu but the owners are very kind and appreciate your business and the tacos are great! No bullshit kick ass food.

Anyone else ever eat anything from the taco trucks that park in random Southwest Detroit parking lots? They have the BEST authentic tacos and other Mexi food.

I'm married to an old wholesale grocer out of Eastern Market, I do know food. Now that he is retired I'm totally shocked at the prices and how fast they are going up at the stores.

When we had our shop I'd pick at the fruits and vegetables all day using the excuse that I was testing for freshness. I hardly ever cooked at home.

If you are in metro Detroit you really should try Parrot's Cove it's a hidden gem.
