I need to order the shit over the next two days and mix my soil, or buy a bunch of Michigan mix.
2 things I like about the Michigan Mix (have NOT used it yet) 1. Convenience. Only need to add water, no more mixing shit up every feeding. 2. Michigan pride.
2 things I don't like about it. 1. Price (what's it cost in the real world, cuz it's $30+ per bag. Anyone buy it by the pallet, or two? 2. Doubt about how good it is. The way I understand it, is that you can veg and bud without adding anything but water through duration of grow. With the supersoil, It is too strong to put plants directly into it, it only goes in bottom half(ish) of pots. Well, that tells me that the supersoil has much more nutes in it. With that train of thought I have been rolling down the supersoil avenue. I bought the ebay charge packs. Not doing that again.
First sentence I realized that I am going to do both, and use them in a grow thread. Last time I looked, Amazon had all the shit needed (obviously I will pick up worm casings and soil), the problem was most of the items did not include shipping and that ended up expensive. It takes four weeks to activate, and it'll take prolly a week to have all the shit shipped. None of us are getting any younger...
Because of the terrible back issues I am having already in life, I have been wanting a cheap cement mixer from harbor freight to mix the soil in. I heard subcool or another weed nerd mention that renting used ones is risky cuz they just don't get clean enough.
We need to find best super soil recipe and decide which soil to use. Ocean Forest is easiest to get. I have been tempted to try the Roots Organics 707 mix. I used the original roots and wasn't impressed.
