Mickey Kush-End of days

Hi All

I have just harvested 1 of 2 Mickey Kush's (the Hybrid) @ 63 days and oh what a smell (phewie).She smells real funky like rotting fruit but there is an underlying scent of lemon in her that comes from the JTR
She was grown using a mix of Sunshine soil, Compost and fed with Tea's throughout her cycle. I took cuts of this gal as well for a second run

I happened to notice this blob of some thing in amongst one of the buds tha kind of reminds me of honey.I've never seen this before so I took pics of it.

hey Ocan Nice plant!! I had lots of sap recently on a VERY resinous plant (Chemo x Spacebomb) I think it means it has very high sugar content like you grew a very healthy plant with very high brix. Congrats!

The higher your brix the thicker your "sap" water from your plants will be since brix just measures the amount of dissolved solids in the plant and most of that is minerals and sugar.

i've heard of this happening before but i've never seen it. did you use any other additives?

Thats got some serious Dank to it Ocan. Once Sub showed the THC tests for the Mickey Kush I knew I had to get it. That and the Dr. Who. I have had a few plants that put off that honey looking stuff the last one was my timewreck I should have kept. I first thought that I coughed a nasty looking lunger on her. But then I stuck my finger in the honey looking stuff and it wasn't a lunger it was sticky and tasted like yummy trichomes. The first time I had encountered anything like it was when I was in Oregon for the first time and we got a bag of Super Silver Haze that was pretty awesome. When I was breaking up the bud for a joint it had the honey like this in the middle of a bud that was like goo. It stretched like you know goo does like a good 3 inches before it broke. Wonder if it could be some plants are super dank and they literally bleed resin in its own form of honey oil.

what is the thc content of Mickey Kush?

I think it was 28% THC

So which one of the Mickeys 3 phenos is the most desirable? Is one more potent or yield bigger and so on,is there a detailed description of the differences?

What is that droplet, pure resin?! Was that near an injury or did it show up all on its own? Also, isn't THC content kinda pheno specific? Every timeI see the Kardashian idiots I think of pheno variability, same genes in all but far different results. In any case well done and your pics are great, I tried taking some shots of my girls and learned that it isn't easy!

Yea THC is plant specific each plant will vary a bit in THC

I don't think that was a resin drop. Only way to know is to taste it. If its sweet and sugary like I think it is then its from the blackstrap in your teas. You will know if its thc. It will leave your teeth felling like you chewed a piece of bud lol.

I have seen both before. Once my dad grew a plant outside in the ground wth hose water (no sugars ever added) and the shit had resin boogers all over it. We didn't see them till we were triming. They were a clear/cloudy color.
Another time I was moving product for a guy and I was finding these amber colored globs on it. When I tasted them it was sugary. He was watering with molasses. I thought it was kinda harsh cause of all the extra sugars in the buds.


I think these sugar globs happen cause the plant is so full of sugars its trying to get rid of at the end and it cant eat it all so it sucretes out the bud.

I am also interested in this, popping a few seeds right now...although I assume I will find out in a few months.

it def looks like sap. i woudlnt worry about it, either way great looking plants, they are just about ready to, couple days, prob could harvest depending on how you like your bud. good luck and good job!
