micro-cab perfection?

Hey y'all. I ha e been doing a ton of research and deciding on LEDs and it seems like the only real difference, at the heart of the matter, is you get a warranty/easier to deal with after purchase support with american stuff, which adds about 200 dollars to the price tag...I only have 1.5 sq feet and looking at UFOs for a perpetual SOG.

Has a 90w mother keeper, a 90w flower led and a flower accelerator that I want, but its more money for those than anything else +/- $650
Or I can go to the top led people from China and get 3 90w UFOs for roughly half that price, and I am sure I could customize them to be veg/clone and flower specific...so...am I just paying for the warrenty? Thanks y'all!

I would use CFL for that small of area. Allot cheaper then LED. If you are close to me in CA I could loan you some LED to try.

What an offer haha. The issue is that I only have 14.5 inches length and 9.5" wide space to put an led up, which is why I only need the smaller wattage or a UFO. I have CFLs, and to get over 4k lumens I am creating way too much heat. I would love to take you up on your offer if I lived in the motherland, but unfortunately I don't :/. I would be glad to pay s/h for it though haha

At that size I would suggest going DIY. 2 Cree CXA's run at 50watt each would run cooler and brighter than any UFO or cfl with more value for your $$$.

bbspills has done very well with 2 2700k CXA3050's, though harder to find the cxa3070 3000k seams to be the favourite around here, just not as easy to find.

Yeah I got you, but the thing is...I have no hands on skill...how hard is this to do if you ha e no knowledge of soldering or electricity?

With the drivers and these type of leds you only deal with low voltage (around 37 volts) and could be done with crimp connectors and solder-less led holders.

I had trouble with soldering at first, drove me crazy then I found thinner solder (0.01") and that problem went away. the solder I was originally using was from the hardware store (0.062")

Yeah, that's cool and I see the point of being f able to choose exactly what bulbs and quality, but the price on these things + me having g to totally learn a new skill=more money than paying for one to be honest...

I don't know much about pre-made led panels. There is a small (9x12x2.75") a51 rw75, but I think it is still to big for you as it needs to vent out the sides. There is also the Onyx panels which are gaining popularity around here and though it might fit in your space (6x13x2") it could be overkill at 250 watts.

There could be others, Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Just buy some Home Depot led bulbs in 2700k and call it a day.

Or buy the cheapest China cob led you can find. Immediately rip it open and look in it...lol. If you can't put that together or modify it to a better state then better stick to screwing bulbs in.

Edit.. Forgot about Hans panels, google them. Would be a good fit for your micro space

I have never used this and only stumbled across it but, there is a product called Wire Glue. Google it. It is a electrically conductive glue that could be used instead of soldering.

A lead wire could be permanently glued on to the led, the rest is "easy". So to say.

Okay, well what about that idea of just using Cree bulbs to replace the CFLs? Will this beat my heat issue? How many should I get for a veg cab/what kind and how many for a flower cab/what kind? I know I am asking a lot, but this is new territory, I searched mucho already. Thanks y'all
