Relative newbie here! Have grown one successful plant in a GH Waterfarm, however would like to upgrade to a better system for a few more plants. I only plan on growing 4 - 6 plants at a time max. Don't really have enough room for additional waterfarms and reserve. I have about a 3' x 3' area to grow in and am looking at one of the following systems:

GENERAL HYDROPONICS
or
Botanicare : Product Overview : Hydrogardens
The Ebb and Flow system

Both are similar priced. One is a 17 gallon drip system and the other a 10 gallon Ebb and Flow.

The GH drip system would fit my space better, but is Ebb and Flow the way to go?

Looking for easiest and least maintenance possible. Also if there are other suggestions in the under $200 range I would be happen to entertain them.

Thanks in advance!

I just completed my 1st grow in a an ecogrower.....harvesting tonight. I had six plants going and 5 were male! Horrible luck. I was so pissed! Although, my one Female is a champ. It looks as if she may reap 2.5 z's. All in all I like the ecogrower. But....

I have 2 problems with the ecogrower:

1. The plants crowd each other and thus block a ton of light to the lower leaves. On my second grow I will put a max of three plants in.

2. The grower is 3 feet tall so your little lady starts at a height of 3 feet which may limit your ability to grow a tall plant depending on the height of your room. My room has 10ft ceilings and I am hanging my light down about a foot from the ceiling which gave me about 5 ft of growing room. My lady wanted to be taller but I had to tie her up and trim that her bush.

Lastly, I must of purchased a defective unit bec. mine developed some hairline cracks at the bottom which leaked water (in the middle of flowering). I called GH (general hydroponics) and they not only sent me a new one with out a receipt but threw in a bunch of free nutes and a t-shirt to boot. Great customer service! I will be a loyal customer forever.
