micro grow help.. should i?

Should i cut the lower shoots to help the main bud get more efficient energy? 3 weeks in flower n there very cristaly but i dont want shoots lingering and taking away from my main bud if they wont produce

leave it be. in most cases, yes its good to take off what wont be hit by good lighting...(ie. lower branches, undergrowth and weak shoots) before you put it to flower. in your case, i'd leave it. you'll only be hurting what yeild you would have been given by cutting. maybe add a cfl or something to light up what isnt getting solid light...just my thoughts here, do what you will...thats how you learn man. trial and error.
 
Agreed. It's a little late for that. I know what you mean though.. I hate those little buds that take up so much energy trying to reach the light. It's 1 gram of bud on a 14 inch branch :)

I have a plant that I didn't top. I m considering taking off all side growth.. It's an experiment. I want a single cola plant. Just for fun.

If you go 12/12 from seed I think you get very little side branching.
