Micro grows: 16oz solo cups & 3-4 inch nursery planters.

Hey ya’ll, I’m starting this diary specifically for my micro grows. I use a 2x2x4 tent, 600w LED light, 4” carbon filter, 4” inline fan, 4” ducting, etc. If anyone wants my full supply list or specific information just lmk!

My set up is in my closet and it’s pretty stealthy. I’m currently focusing on growing autos on a 20/4 schedule. I have 6 plants in my tent and 4 seeds being germinated.

3 of the plants in my tent are in 1 gallon pots. Those plants are lemon skunk, purple, and anesthesia autos. Anesthesia is doing well but the other 2 are stunted. I won’t be focusing on the 1 gallon plants.

My focus will be on the following autos:

2 Lemon skunks and 1 Purple in 16 oz solo cups
1 Northern lights and 1 Amnesia in a 4in pot
1 Purple haze and 1 Sweet skunk in a 3in pot

Bit confused by yer filter placement

How is it filtering smell outside the tent

The in-line fan sucks air out of the tent, through the ducting, and into the carbon filter. The air is cleaned inside of the filter and released as clean air. There is no smell in my closet/bedroom/apartment.

The filter is outside the tent, so isn't it drawing air from the closet not in the tent

Usually your sucking into the filter, this the covering on the outside to filter dust and stuffs

No, the filter is cleaning air that is pushed in via the fan inside of the tent.

There are many ways to set this up and this way works for my set up. My tent is small and I didn’t want the filter inside. It does the job. Temperature and smell are being controlled just fine!

Not quite sure why theres so much confusion on how he has it set up. Picture number 3 is exactly what he’s doing. Sometimes your tent doesn’t facilitate the space to have the filter inside.

Update:

All of the new seeds have popped. Amnesia just needs a couple of days to lose her seed shell.
Today I started using fox farms. Used to use the general hydroponics kit.
That’s it. Pretty uneventful week. I’ll post another round of pics next week.

All cars (mostly) used to be rear wheel drive. Then they started with front wheel drive. Just plain wrong.
