damn guys i dont know about u but i use my lil scope with the light to check my buds and that fucker gives me a headache just squinting looking threw it its just a small one 3.5 inches long but goes 60x100 and i think i need a bigger lence to look into lol funny thing is the hydro shop had a longer one but not as strong for the same amount

Holy shit that USB scope is amazing.. I've never seen one..lol I will for sure be looking into one of those.. Thanks for posting that toasty!! :) and yeah bulla, my eyes seem to just stay crossed from lookin through my scope.. :eyesmoke:

The USB scopes are ok. I have a 200x one and its not bad.

I am not too happy with the results but they do work.

I just use a 30x jewelry loop.

i have both, the 420 type of handheld microscope, and also one of the usb types.. i like the 420 type, but not so much with the usb one.. from what i gather wtih the usb one, i have to take my laptop up to my grow room to use it, like it doesn't have a simple memory card like a normal camera does, at least not the one i have doesn't... it would be awesome to have a usb one that you could take some snaps with it and then upload it to your computer.. not sure if they even sell those types, but they probably do, but i would think that they run buku bucks..

Stills and video.

Its not as convenient as a loop or a camera because you have to move your plant near your computer. I suggest having it on its stand instead of hand held shots.

They are fun to have around for other things though.

heh, i was thinking the other way around. i have a netbook i can easily carry into my flowering room for pics from the usb scope.

If that is convenient for you, then cool.

The lighting in your grow room will help with better photos as well.

some will, some will not depending on the lighting and the unit used to take photos. magnetic ballasts can surely screw hardcore with cheap digicams. that is why you see horizontal lines in a lot of noob photos on here.

I bought one if those Eyeclopes handheld usb microscopes from Toys R Us on a whim and for inspecting plants its really good.
