Seriously, is the guy in the middle going to just "truly treat each other as equals" and "come to terms with the history of racism" without a "conversation" that involved more than just words?

That said, tty is not alone in this, there are other examples of witless white liberals showing their in accepting their part in supporting systemic racism. Sanders supporters are the worst for this.
