Ladies and Gentlemen of Rollitup,

I its MikeJones here and I getting ready for the great new year of 2009. This is my first time growing so feedback is not only allowed but highly encouraged. This will be a detailed procedure of what my plants do, and what i do for my plants, along with dates from start to finish. I am planning on trying many different methods for everything from germination to curing and drying.

I ordered my seeds from nirvana. I was planning on getting one from nirvana and one from Dr. Chronics but for some reason my credit card wouldn't go through and there was no way I was going to send a money order. When i filled out the orderform i filled all the information in accuratly, no fake names, no friends address.

I have 10 Durban Poisions and 10 Master Kushes , both seperate orders... yeah it was 5 euros more but what ever.

The first order came incredably well camoflauged and the second... not very good.

That is all i have for now, but look for another post around end of april beging of may.

heyy what up? I am going to be starting my grow on monday. I have decided to start my plants indoor with some CLF's in a grow drawer. I went and got some of the supplies that i am going to need today. I got 7 plug in sockets, 1 Y socket, 3 extention chords, and a 42 watt CFL. I have the other stuiff like the power strip and the timer i need. I am going to do like 6- 7 plants at a clip.

What strain should i start first, or it doesn't matter, I have Master Kush and Durban Poison.

today i began germinating. I started 5 MK's and 5 DP's. I began by wetting 2 paper towels with warm water and i put the seeds in them and then put the towel in a zip-lock baggie. I then put the seeds on my computer. Its warm and dark (2 things that you need) be sure to keep the seeds spaced out a little and the towels moist or you will have no germination. With the next ten i am going to do the soaking method, unless this time i have perfect results. Why mess with a good thing? I have some more pictures up once i have some tap roots out.

I pHed the tap water that comes from my house and it is slightly basic- not good for weed. and the soil i bought .. cant remember the name now but i pHed that too and it was pretty good (around 6-6.5 is where you want to be) with the water i added

well guys i have a 100% germination on the Master Kush and a 0% on the Durban Poison wtf lol

i have 2 plants that have broke the soil. one is yellow, which i think is normal. and the other one is like a beige color which is not normal, i dont think.

they both are under light now. the other three that germinatied didnt go under yet, is that bad, or am i doing the right thing

can someone provide some in site as to what is going on. Recommendations on what to do.

I have about 2.2 cubic feet of totally enclosed, non-ventilated area. It is all wood except for the top, the top is like cardboard, but not corrugated cardboard. i am running around 40-50 watts of CFLs. I am i being nuts for worring about a fire, thats my first priority. If there is no chance of fire, how much heat are we talking about, too much heat for my plants, even if its blead out every day?

heat shouldnt be a problem unless its hot out wherever you live. i grew in this with a 40watt cfl, the box is only 12"x18" i stuck a desklamp through the side and put a removeable cardboard top on it![ ahh pic didnt work never tried it before, i knew it couldnt be as easy as dragging it to the text window thing that you type in. could someone please pm me on how to it sucessfully, or atleast put me on to some informational reading, so that i can show therealmikejones what im talkin about and hopefully aleiviate his concerns! i will try and figure it out in the mean time but i dont know my way around the pc very well. thanks, peace!

okay well i am about a week from when i first planted my seeds. I have 2 plants that are doing very well, and two that are doing not so well, the leaves like burnt off.

any recommendations on what to do for the ones that are burnt off, or are they fucked? ill upload some pics tomorrow.

thanks jones, i hope this works.
put up pics of the yellowing, is it the cotyledons?

the light goes through the slit in the box if you can see it. then i just put a peice of cardboard and a towel or a shirt over that so no light shines out. its worked perfect so far, although it might be tough if it were mid summer without ventillation, its still kinda cold were i live.

yes it was the cotledons. one died today. I cut the other one, bec doing nothing obviously didnt work. I took another look today, the two good ones look beautiful, and they even smell nice =)

ill put the pics up soon, i have an SLR and its hi-res so i have to resize them and i am slightly lazy.

thoes other 5 seeds never germinated the same process was used for both. I think i am going to send an email to nirvana to see if they will make good on thier seeds.

thanks j998

what are they in again? im pretty sure your mix/soil is too hot cause those seedlings look burnt to me. you want to have a light nutrientless/soiless mix to start them off at first. your medium is probably too hot man! i.e you shouldnt have burnt leaves at such a young age? mg seedling starter mix works fine for me until theyre about 2-3 weeks old in 16oz cups.
