So I'm in so cal, and I was in my backyard transplanting because my plants were running out of space in their pots, and while I was doing this a military helicopter flew directly over me and my plants. And then I saw it again 2-3 hours later. Is this something I should be worried about? I only have 3 plants.

I doubt you have much to worry about with just 3 plants.

You must be near Camp Pendleton. Military pilots fly for training purposes and are not employed by local law enforcement to look for illegal activity. Now if it were a police helicopter that were to keep flying over your place that would be something to take precaution against.

regardless of state police or military if you have only 3 plants then your as safe as walking down the streets of socal..lol you don't have enough to worry on state or federal level.. BUT they may have you in there records as an outdoor grower and do a bit more research on your house and occupants.. there are SOOOO many people doing there own 2-6 plant grows that its unreal..unless you see them taking photo's i myself wouldn't worry about it.. hell i am in a non state and have them flying overhead on a daily basis,but i live on the side on a mountain and in the sticks so they can come ifn they want tooo .. alot of times there out just to people watch.. bored and have to spend the gov. money somehow.. all the legit ways are gone so they need to make up more reasons to burn money/fuel.
