Milk-mucus?

Is it true that drinking milk will make my body make more phlegm? Just a quick yes or no from someone who actually knows would help.

Cause I'm sick and I was drinking milk and my bro was saying that milk would just make me cough more cause my body will make more mucus.

It doesnt actually make you make more, it just makes what you have thicker and more annoying.

yea, i know cuz i sing...and i never drink milk when im gonna sing cuz it makes ur mucus very thick and icky. i dont think it actually causes more tho...but if u have a cold dont drink milk...it will cause ur mucus to get thicker and that makes it harder to get rid of. not only that...but it doesnt go so well with cough medicine...i learned that the hard way...lol
