You use a very dilute spray of milk (unpasteurized) and water to kill powdery mildew. Or supposedly.Otherwise no way.

go through the sticky threads. read them. knowledge is your best friend and alot of people spread bullshit around. if you take the time to read and realize that its a plant, not some weird science project..just to mimic nature is your best bet, then when you understand concepts..you can fine tune things into specifics.

The milk worked great on my zucchini for mildew but I'd be a little apprehensive about using it in my girls. Never had it on them touch weed lol

OK OK, 1part milk to 8parts water did pretty well on my outdoor plants for powdery mildew, but milk as a source of nutrients is not recommended. At all.

I feel like milk would only be good for cerrtain situations. using it as a rememdy for p.m. is common knowledge.
my grandmother used to mix spoiled milk with hot water and water her compost bed roses with it. she had them growing in old beds of compost (that she still used and added to) so I think really she was using the enzymes in the spoiled milk to break down the compost quicker so the plant could use it.
wish id been older when she did this so I could have had more interest in it.
