Yes if you start with a fem auto you will get fem seeds exactly like the seeded plant.

well obviously theyre going to be female beans, thats not something anyone would be arguing. Thats why Im assuming he wants to know if the plants are going to be autos or photos, but I realize Im being quite presumptuous and that may not be what hes asking. The female seeds resulting from self pollinating an auto should resemble the parent quite a bit yes, however depending on whether the strain is hetero or monozygous, the offspring can and most likely will differentiate quite a bit with a percentage of the seeds producing plants that resemble the parent. its not as black and white as you paint it to be, not trying to be a dick or attack you at all btw.

Was more a will they resemble the plant they came from or will I be opening it up to all sorts of variations lol I assumed they would-be auto just didn't know what sort if stability they would have as far as producing the same plant :)

I believe every grower should make there own seed, thats how it used to be before the modern age and our factory/monoculture mentality toward agriculture

sure man you could breed some seed that way, it wouldnt be much tho. They wont develop "bad habits" but you will be selecting towards plants that do best in that environment so likely low yielding, slower growers but itll also help weed out intersex traits (stress brings it out if its there) so unless your trying to develop a tiny cup competition line of plant youd probably do better off going with hilows idea and using a solo cup at minimum that way you can get a much fuller expression of the phenotype and make better selections.

breeding is fun as fuck lol

it depends whether or not the selfed plant is homozygous for most genes expressed or heterozygous, which you wont know unless someone has already progeny tested it or you progeny test the seeds it produces yourself

most of the time youll end up with something pretty close to the selfed plant though.

could open up a lot of variation if say its an F1 hybrid or just not well bred
 
alright....still cant upload so just take my word there doin fine lol im actually considering femenizing one of my girls (I got 4, only 1 is in the cup I chose to compete with) and breeding it to one of her sibs for some F9 fems lol just for fun, idk ill decide tonight and let yall know!

This is the 4th girl, second biggest, pink and frosty. started spraying her today :D Hopefully I can get some seed from her siblings but if not I can always use the Pollen on someone else, I could always use more fem beans!

Okay. I've taken her as far as I could. Premature by about 2 weeks is my estimate. Half the trics are white or cloudy-ish .lol. I think I had a combination of problems. The wicks still moved too much water even though I dropped down to 2 of them. Algae, in the pot, and the wicks. etc. Good times! :bigjoint:

Ironically, this is the stinkiest thing in my closet. Very "fruity pebbles" lemony scent with a touch of petrol. lol

I'd likely care more about the $9 seed if I didn't just do this to 1/3 of the smallest Bubblicious:

If you're doing regular 16oz solo cups, you should be fine hand watering. These cups are 1/8 the size. :o

I have a crazy idea I want to try that came to me by looking at one of those plastic tripod things some pizza places use so the box doesn't squish. Details are confidential. :bigjoint:

Thanks for the tips guys. lol at the pizza box table thing. I got one with my pizza the other day and thought, for a very brief moment, could I use this to grow somehow? I didnt take it any further though. But, now that you have an idea, I'm trying to think of one!
