Mini Sun Soaker hood or Quad Ray hood?

im about to buy a 400w hps system from HTGsupply, does anyone have any experience with these hoods, the Mini Sun Soaker or the Quad Ray? im trying to decide which would best suit my needs. im gonna be growing in a 4'deep x 6' wide x 8" high closet and plan on having about 9 plants at the beginning in a 3x3 to 4x4 square, but that will likely drop to 6 or less depending on how many males i get.... any advice? the mini sun soaker is an umbrella style hood where as the quad ray is a rectangular shaped hood but has multiple facets inside

does anyone prefer one of the shapes? rectangular vs umbrella? which one would be better for my area?
